Ragnaros will be killed before you hit Stanglethorn. A guild called GRIZZLY are the apex try hards. They plan to cash in sick days to level to 60 in a week. another week to farm preraid bis. consumables. and the sm dog whistle x40 for easy rag. as well as stacking an all range raid comp. Raganros will be dead before 90% of the server is level 20. It happened on original Nost it will happen on fresh. I am not trying to convince people to not roll on fresh i just think the age of a vanilla server is meaningless. you could lvl to 60 on original nost and find a guild thats trying to start MC or farm pre raid bis and be the crucial piece to an existing raids roster. it isnt black and white. theres no "catching up" Ragnaros will be dead. and the absolutle no lifers who know they can shut down ppl from entering everlook will be kings. add in theres a chance retial ppl choose this server. gank central. If you just enjoy the game. roll old Nost like i know many of you already have. if you still want that feeling of being on the cutting edge of leveling then go for it but it literally will not be original nost. it will be the hard core and the mew ppl. with such a gap in the middle its unreal.

What will actually happen is fresh will have 4-7k and the majority of new people will go old nost as the starting zones on fresh will remain permanently ваууed for months. After the hype dies down Old retains it's que and 11k pop, PvE with 5k, and fresh with 4k it comes down to the majority of people who will quit in the next 6 months will be obsessed with rolling fresh. Once the saturation of bad players takes hold in the raid community a large chunk will fall off. Anyone who has played and committed to vanilla will be on old nost where the hardcore are. It's just a fact, and the fresh people will фекал themselves when Rag is dead and they're level 24 Kronos 2 had 5k, you're kidding yourself if they all plan to roll fresh as several guilds on k2 were old nost guilds. I genuinely think the fresh server will be a turn off for a lot of people. They will get to lvl 3 and realize the amount of people in starting zoens isn't slowing down. They will then go back to their level 28 on Nost and consider how they can run any dungeon at any time without issue and probably just stay on nost happy with their 25 gold and 12 lvls from a mount. After a week or two they may go to the fresh realm but once they see Nost's pop is bigger they will likely stay Nost. It's as simple as this, there will be smarty pants gnomes and humans and dwarfs levling in darkshore.it will be that packed. Kronos 1 had a surge of players when Nost shut down, and the levling was insane, this is gonna be 100x worse.

Because many players will make a character on old nost pvp, level to 25 and realize it's awesome and a new server isn't really that important to them especially when they go on that server and can't hit level 2 becasue the zones are so packed.

I've played Mage, Shaman, Warrior, Rogue, and Priest as my main classes that have over 20 days /played on 1.12 I have never been able to play Druid because I just hated how pidgeon holed you were into doing one thing, total personal anesthetic distaste with them. Priest is likely my favourite class now because it just fufills that roll of Papa heals. The Shamans or Paladins get stacked because they have superior HPS but Priest just have almost like a well oiled machine affect to them. If you have 3 or 4 Priests one of which shadow, the buffing of Stamina and Spirit is gonna be strained and take some time inbetween wipes, I feel having core strong Priests to buff these things with the paladins are just as req as Druid or Paladin. As well as Shadow Protection. Priest doesn't show up on the meter just like Power Word Shield doesn't but you can feel the difference with them. Like say ur in a 5 man with a lowbie and they pull. A good healer of any class can save the day but a Priest just has such an easy job popping a few renews and a prayer of healing and they stabilize the damage so well. Also they can shackle UD, with scholo and Strath Ud being some of the most annoying 5 mans to pug. Id say Paladin/Shaman is the pure best healer. Priest is somewhere in the middle with tons of outside raid utility even though Druid with gear can be better. Druid can have tons of non healer fun, while Priest is kind of stuck with Shadow which kicks asss, or smite priest control spec which is also really fun A good way to describe Priest is I farm Demonic Runes in Felwood as heal spec with some SP gear on and specifically go for PvP duels and try and out last them while spamming renew wand spam and power word pain. Losing to really only enchane shaman. Just pure stam and amount of mana regeneration makes you like impossible to take down and it just gets more and more obvious how gear rounds out the survivability that was 5 stam on robes of the exalted.

I've noticed lately the average teenager is 100x more stupid than I ever was. They have no confidence and can't accept being wrong about anything.
