So i hit lvl 60 two weeks ago. And to be honest, i'm heavily disappointed with this realm. I cannot for the life of me get even a 5 man dungeon group for something like scholo/ or blackrock spire going, Even on the weekends. I never anticipated a population of around 900-1500 at peak would bring up this problem. I'm bored out of my mind and nobody wants to do anything. I see 4000+ going strong on Elysium and i have to wonder is a Character/Realm Transfer possible?

I'm not going to sugar coat this, Being a relatively recent lvl 60, I Gotta tell you, This server is Boring AF. Nobody wants to do ANYTHING, NO DUNGEONS, NOTHING. Their may be some raids going on but thats it. It's brutal. Don't come here.

See it as you will But it looks as if they really only give a crap about Anathema as it's always the news topic every day So what you don't give any crap about the Pve realm? or the other 2 realms??? Why is PVP So much more Important than anything else? Stop gloating about only one realm and start gloating about the Entire Server instead.

So back when the game released in 2004 i was still going hard on Games like Diablo 2 Lord of destruction and Warcraft 3. I Only being a 12-13 year boy couldn't get my hands on a credit card to play WoW, so i couldn't play. I had however always have several free 14-day trial pass keys and discs witch i swear are still occasionally popping up in the trash somewhere lol. Anyways it wasn't till around Early Summer of 2006 that i was able to really start playing. I had saved up some hard earned cash and i got a deal through my mothers work discount on a new Dell Computer, Of course being a business discount it only applied to the more expensive Optiplex line of computers. So I got myself a Brand new Dell Optiplex 745 computer, was on sale and also had a 15% discount and i was able to pay for most of it and the remainder i owed over the course of 6 months haha. Pricey computer, but i don't fully remember the actual price tag anyways, it has a Intel core 2 duo E6600 2.4ghz Dual core processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, DVD/ROM combo drive, a 160gb hard drive, and a ATI Radeon X1600 Pro 256MB Video Card, Oh and it had come with Windows VISTA but i opted for XP Professional 32-bit via downgrade rights at the time. This thing kicked some ass and was the fastest computer i had ever owned at the time, What i was playing my games on before simply couldn't really handle WoW all that well, though i still managed to get a trial char up to level 20 in 14 days rofl (No social life right?) Anyways good times, lotta memories, and things have changed since then. Back in 2012 (yes that long) i custom build the computer i presently use today. But I still kept the old Dell and it still works flawlessly, it has seen some business computer backup use over the years and some time in he closet :( BUT when we brought Nost back on Decemeber 17th i Decided to Pull her out of the closet and give her some life and good old memories again. She Is a little different then her original configuration though it had 4GBS OF DDR2 memory now instead of the 2 it original came with, it also was using a Geforce 8800 Graphics card, but for the sake of it i put the old Radeon X1600 Pro back in, And i am now running my original Vanilla world of warcraft Computer playing the same MUTHA FUCKING GAME! it did 11 YEARS AGO? Damn? The only difference is i am playing her on a 1080p monitor and not the 1280x1024 i used to have, Oh yes 60FPS Questing Max settings! Theirs no WAY i'd do that with this thing on Retail now, Let alone Lowest settings 256MB of video ram would probably struggle at that resolution. >< Serious Nostalgia, I just had to get that Absolute Authentic feel of the time period when this beloved version of our game was in it's prime. Sadly No i didn't exactly get to experience as much of it as i wanted to before burning crusade released, That's what happens when a new expanssions comes out, people don't bother with old content anymore, Though thankfully i did get my taste in most of the dungeons, In witch Scholo/Strath/BRD/ Are among my Absolute Favorites!, But i hope to catch up and do the Raids i never got to do, like AQ40/Naxx 40 Am i just a lonely Nerd or does anyone else have a story like this xD

its new years day over their. they are not going to give said fuck right now. their are so many bugs and things that need to be fixed and ppl are already bitching about moving on to the next patch sweet fuck is right

the cons and pros are accurate, another con i'd put in though is the vanilla experience will never really be 100% especially with all the bugs and stuff. and yes we will always have the issue of immature players. often we get lots of complainers to because their not accustomed to the older version of wow witch is more challenging then the current, where they practically hand u a near max lvl toon and new ones are easy to level

xD so I'm level 30 now, i was Doing Westfall>>Duskwood With a Bit of Redridge, then a little wetlands, then Hillsbrad, Then i went to Shimmering flats in thousand needles, And Omg, Got all these quests that are basically kill drop "Grinds" but the Drop rate on some of these, Omg, i spent probably a good hour kiling this one Scorpion i needed venom from, Still not one drop So i got annoyed went back to hillsbrad, sept all the quests available to me are level 35-38 Mobs, Yikes!, Managed to do a couple in arathi highlands but then came Level 35-37 Elite quests now I'm back to square one... I Don't remember having this problem years ago, But eh i'm not gonna complain, just gunna ask for suggestions Where to go

I do believe their are WoW Vanilla Graphic enhancement packs. For Extra shaders, better textures, etc. Weather or not tho these just go into the Files of your Game folder or have to be implemented on the server is beyond me. Either way the game does look good the way it is on a 1080p system, hec even higher works nice to. But i would definitally love better Environmental and terrai view distances, the max setting doesn't seam max. but as already said, their's probably a good reason for it being missing atm.

Just finished all my questing in Duskwood, But you my friend have been missing and not one reported sighting or kill yet. Much sadness, hope to see ya soon! Is this in the Bug section?

Yah i'm strongly dissapointed that this wasn't fixed in the latest patch, honestly. But then again they also have so many bugs and issues to attend to, Especially over the holidays its just not all gonna happen that quickly. But i hope enough people are getting this to their attention so that it does get included in the patches down the road. He was a launch feature.

Why so much hate and trash over this, he's not entirely wrong, Its going to be hell in the beginning whether you agree or not. Its like that with any server. I'd rather not have to bother fighting with people to get to level 4!. Stick to nost

Heh Dude, Get your But into Stratholme/Scholomance/Black rock depths and get geared up and ready for Some Molten core. You have lots to do yet xD, Not to mention those 2-3 hour dungeons should fill your bags and make you some coin yuh!

The sole reason for this need is to ease the load on the current servers. It doesn't mean they will stop fixing and further perfecting the current servers. Keep leveling and enjoy. Bug after bug, it will get better.

the process of transferring a core to another is bound to have a ton of a bugs and stuff, and while we are all frustrated with how much this affects the vanilla experience we want to have, it is going to take time to perfect, so be patient and stop complaining and making these utterly useless topics. KAPEESH!

Bs, We won't be leaving the server full of Imperfection and then just focusing on a fresh one. What would have been the point in all this effort so far, Not to mention it's not exactly a 1 day ride to lvl 60 like it is on retail ANd indeed Crowley Stitches makes Duskwood. New to elysium, Had a lvl 22 In Nost before it closed, Have been playing Retail Since TBC, never got to experience enough of Vanilla Raiding and Dungeons, So really looking forward to it. (JUST FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT CLOSE THE SERVER DOWN AGAIN!) I I clean Vehicles for a living and Also work For Fedex at the momment. I am Very Much looking forward to playing vanilla again and experiencing what i missed, do to not being able to Afford to play the game soon enough back in the day. I still actively play retail but have 100% love and respect for the old WoW community and am proud that its still very much active and thriving.
