  2. After observing so much interest on this topic, I thought I should add my 2 cents on the matter. Primus inter pares, Mokes as a fellow tank I understand how much those shoulders are an upgrade, and I can understand your frustration on losing such an item. So just want to offer my sympathy in that regard. Now on to the matter at hand, BoE's and world drops are quite a sensitive topic as everyone has their own understanding of what is correct protocol. To see my PoV in groups, I want to first state what would happen if a BoE epic dropped while questing or grinding solo. Regardless of the Epic and the value of it, you would be delighted at your new bounty and proceed to either equip it or decide to sell it on the AH, where you can make some capital in order to buy more suitable upgrades for yourself. The logic provided above also in my opinion extends into group and pug play, guild groups will utilise their own loot rules and give the item to the person most in need, which is totally understandable. We are talking about pugs here thou, these are just a bunch of randoms grouping together in order to clear content. Loot that drops of bosses even rares follow the convention of need before greed; because it is expected that you will possibly receive an upgrade that you came to the instance for. BoE world epics are different though, you do not expect for it to drop, the chance is too low for you to consider it to drop from a single or even multiple runs. So when it does drop, note the chance of it to drop in an instance is equal to it dropping while out in the world questing. Its hard to justify people not being able to roll for such an item. Just because at the given time of the drop, you are grouped and someone in the group benefits immediately from equipping does not directly entitle them to ownership of the drop. Giving the item to a random pug who you may never play with, means that you lost out on potential upgrades yourself. This would not be the case if you were soloing and an item dropped. So why are people being penalised for grouping up? BoE's epics have almost equivalent value for everyone, because they are tradeable and sellable. If an item has a net value of 250g, the item presents 250g worth of value upgrades for every single person in the dungeon. Sometimes winning one BoE epic, means that a person will get 2 meaningful upgrades compared to a person getting 1 upgrade. Just because you are grouped doesn't mean you should lose your chance at potential upgrades. If people bring up arguments regarding the commission on the AH, etc; please note I said it has almost equal value. So from my PoV needing on a BoE epic in a group is acceptable, as you would have done the same if you made a group to do a quest on the overworld. If this is not your opinion, you must be the party maker and you must state the loot rules before the instance starts.
  3. Your statement is a deviant to what I have stated. Yes the horde have less level 60's than the alliance. There are quite a few reasons for this. While I see your point of going for a communal good approach. A few points you have not taken into consideration. The alliance have more 60's primarily because most hardcore guilds decided to role alliance. The ones that rolled horde, are not to stressed about MC firsts as it is a very myopic view. The horde have been slower to reach 60 because, of overcrowding and lack of options when it comes to levelling and quest hubs. My experience of levelling to 60, in less than 2 weeks meant that I had to grind from 20-30; as quests were impossible to do due to tag stealing and spawn times. 20-30 The other point is that right now as people are not geared, mechanics in places such as UBRS matter, dispelling flame buffets for example. You can later steamroll this with gear. Due to circumstance, all the 60's that are organised are playing in guild groups; they don't bother to pug. This is from the PoV of someone who has both pugged UBRS and been in guild groups. Most guilds have dedicated key holders for these things. Atleast 1 if not 2-3 will have UBRS key. I know few from other guilds who have it as well. Pugs atleast last week for UBRS were a rare occurrence. Hence why people do charge slightly more because demand is very low. So low in fact that I have not seen anyone looking for key service yet (last week). What I don't understand is why you believe the standard fare is too much? 1g from everyone in the run is actually very small, you make a good chunk of gold while levelling even if you bought your 40 mount. Once you enter its very easy to make 5-7g from UBRS trash drops alone per person. Anyway once you get a key you may re-evaluate the value of key service. Getting the key after all is a painstaking process in my opinion.
  4. As someone who has a UBRS key, and as someone who has spammed almost nothing but LBRS once 60 to get the key. I can tell you that your claims are very bold indeed. Of course you are free to charge whatever you want, but 10g or 1g per person has always been the standard rate, and is agreed to be fair across multiple servers. If you start charging less than that, it will just cause disruption between the buyers and sellers. Say you charge 5g, then buyers will want 5g price from every other Key provider. In the end it will just mean that groups will spend longer waiting outside UBRS. Despite what you say it will be very unlikely that you will be available to service everyone across all time zones, the server is international so you will have demand 24 hours. Part of me thinks that you are ok with making these claims because you have yet to farm the key. LBRS is a lengthy instance where there is a lot of annoying trash. Tanks and healers have little motivation to do the instance aside for the key, there is no prebis tank loot from the instance other than a crossbow, from a boss not to far in. It is far more effective for tanks and healers to do other instances such as BRD. If you intend to farm till all of you have a key, then good luck you will be investing a huge amount of time into the process. Right now, unless you have a guild that wants to invest time into you, or you have a premade group of friends who wish to help you out. Its a right pain to get that key quest done. Maybe once you have a key, you will re-evaluate what the fair price is. Also note, by no means am I discouraging you with this post; If you wish to farm it, then go for it. Everyone should do what they want. I am just outlining the potential reality of what you are stating. Who knows thou? maybe you'll get it first try and this post may be in vain. P.S. Some puke comes to my mouth when someone mentions LBRS.
  5. shayss been on the wrong side of the internet,
  6. I was expecting this to be shayss.
  7. Which ever guild has members with the ability to keep their eyelids open using matchsticks for 2 weeks straight. They also have to be drinking coffee and redbull like its Octoberfest for caffeine. they get bonus points if they got a drip attached to them so they don't need to eat or go to excrete. gonna say grizzly, cause they got dank meme power.
  8. I am saving your ass from page 2 mediocrity.
  9. This contribution is immense and will be heralded down as one of the greatest achievements in the history of the server. Donald trump us election win got nothing on this.
  10. Is that how your gonna taunt ally?

Thanks for that, works nicely. That chest pre-defence nerf has 25 defence, that's absurd, the 2 set bonus is +5 def. Boot have always been a bad slot pre-raid to get defence; so using the boots and the chest nets you 30 defence. This is the same amount of defence that you would get even after the boots get buffed to blue quality(17 from chest, 3 from 2 set and 10 from boots). Post defence nerf you get a total of 20 defence from the 2 set. So if the information above is correct and the defence nerf occurs in 1.7 then, the chest and boots of that set provide highest defence pre-raid in their respective slots.

Undertanker, is 1.4 when the deathbone boots/legs/belt/gloves got buffed to blue quality? The blue boots were pretty exceptional as they were the only ones with defence pre-raid if i remember correct. Edit: I think it was 1.10 when they were buffed I believe.
