I've played both, and my guilds MT is undead, my previous guilds MT was undead. And the answer is its literally impossible to stance dance every single nef fear due to the cd on fear immune being the exact same as the fear unless you are undead and can WOTF. Checkmate idiot. Another part is when the tank stance dances he's taking 20% more damage so it exposes him to more burst. So what do you think is better, having to risk your tank stance dancing AND HE WILL GET FEARED EVENTUALLY, or having non shitter priests that go the master race? I know you want to be a pretty little elf boi doing flips and shit but the simple answer is dwarves bring SIGNIFICANTLY more to the table than non dwarves in both pve and pvp. P.S. Starshards is horrible with the exception of spell pushback.

roughly how much of a disadvantage will i be if i dont go human for fury endgame PVE.
Haestingas replied to wrathchild1971's topic in Warrior
Is being human the difference between being a good dps and a bad dps? No, it’s not. The bad dps will die to boss mechanics, not consume correctly, and use poor rotations leading to poor performance regardless of race. The difference in being human is if you are a good dps, it makes you noticeably better in your damage output. The thing is with warriors, weapon skill not only directly increases your damage output, but also at the same time increases your rage generation to further increase your dps. -
The difference is horde have tremor totems where as ally just have fear ward. Horde also has undead will of the forsaken
 -
It no longer stacks, and the proc doesn't stay up super consistently even with WF.

The big one is twin emps which takes 8+minutes to kill. That fight makes mp/5 and spirit worth so much more than usual.

Basic Holy Priest guide - "What the light will tell you."
Haestingas replied to Shayss's topic in Priest
Renew ticks do not proc Blue Dragon Card on Nost, that was a thing on other servers and has never worked on Nost. The Holy Nova thing is correct, its especially useful in Suppression. Renew is good on a couple encounters, but overall its a pretty crap spell. It also becomes worse the better/more healers you have. On vael its great to avoid pushback and to keep 2nd group healed up. On Chrom its nice because the tank is taking constant damage so the ticks have a good chance to actually heal, on brood its nice to maximize healing for the burst damage since that tick can be the diff between life or death after the mortal strike. On Nef it's ok but you have to be super careful to make sure it's not ticking into a class call since if its priest it will wreck the tank. The main issue I have with the people advocating renew is that you would be better served when a bunch of raid damage is going out by using 8/8 t2 and gheal rank 1. You can add in the zg madness trinket to make sure you don't get sniped. It's so much healing output you need to worry about pulling agro its that good. For the people advocating renew, I encourage you to download DPSmate which tracks all your healing and lets you really see how much renew is actually doing. I think you will be surprised how little effective healing renew generates. -
Can confirm the price was 1000g, it was 1 week window with no warning so very few were able to raise 1000g.

Pro by Default (US) Horde Recruiting for AQ
Haestingas replied to Wowlegend's topic in Guild Recruitment
It's amazing what you find when you are thinking about applying to a guild on your mage and look into how the loot is dealt with. So I'm guessing Blackdebby is the best mage on server since they received your 1st Mind Quickening Gem, 1st Band of Forced Concentration, 1st Mishundare, 1st Staff of Shadowflame, 1st Robe of Volatile Power, 1st Mana Igniting Cord, 2nd Tear, 2nd Choker, and 3rd Mantle of Blackwing Cabal. Most likely got 2nd Ring of Spellpower but I can't confirm since it went to ???. That's every single top mage item that's available in current 40man raiding. You are so corrupt you gave both the 1st Mish and 2nd Tear FROM THE SAME KILL to Blackdebby. I'm sure it's just coincidence this player is an officer. It's guilds like this that poisons peoples opinions of Loot Council. Feel free to find a more blatant example of LC corruption and prove me wrong. -

				Who's getting Server first Ragnaros?
Haestingas replied to Swineflu's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I don't recognize any of the guilds except Grizzly. Really these days server first Rag comes down to who has 30ish people to level 60 first. -
Warlock is just better. You generally bring 2ish hunters for tranq and no more. Meanwhile the absolute minimum amount of warlocks is 3, and the vast majority bring more than that due to their dps being very high.
 -
One thing I'll mention is dwarves have access to BRAIDS OF POWER. That is if you get certain hairstyles as female they wave around like crazy when you are casting. Quite frankly its hilarious and a +.
 -
Whoops you are right. The other 3 points go into crit in fury tree.

http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#Luhx0hbZZEbzoeMzVo As Undertanker said this spec really only works well if you are going deep on consumes and have a lot of threat gear such as Accuria, Onslaught Girdle, Lionheart with zg enchant, r8 legs and so on. You can also just have world buffs and be doing incredible threat with that build. This build requires your healers to be fairly strong, and you as the tank need to know when to go full mitigation (Broodlord, Chrom, and Nef are the main ones). So essentially this build is only viable if you are geared to the teeth, consume heavily, and have a guild with top dps that require this crazy stuff to keep threat.
 -
You will be fairly viable but the strength of fear ward is incredible in MC, BWL, and ZG. Even in pvp its strong since you can fear ward a fair amount of ppl before the gate goes down.
 -
Warlock is dumpster DPS until ZG gets released, then they are even with mages through AQ40. In Naxx warlocks pull ahead.

Against the rules for a group of people to stay in BR1 after R14?
Haestingas replied to larivandore's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You really think there's a rule that says you can't pvp too much? Hahahahaha -
The part that was bannable was people MCing others in battlegrounds into the portal which would cause the target to leave the BG. Outside of that I never heard of anything else that would result in a ban from using MC.

A real priest guide v2, wish to hear your comments and thoughts.
Haestingas replied to TheRealJindo's topic in Priest
Lol, my guilds in the past have cleared MC in 33 minutes, I've cleared through Cthun with the fastest AQ clear times server wide. I was top 25 healing on all of nost for BWL average healing AS A PRIEST. The last guild I was in had the top priest AND top paladin healer on the entire server, so guess what renew healing was terrible when you are surrounded by non фекал healers. You actually have a profession mention in your wall of text, if you are going to mention professions then you need to mention tailoring jackass. So please oh lord of priests tell me what makes YOU such a source? Best part about this is you ASKED for feedback, I gave it and you resulted in personal attacks. So put up or shut up jackass. Fact is your guide is poorly structured, and has problems with the content. Regards, Varth an actual top healing priest -

I cant wait for you guys to leave, roll on fresh and then give up leveling due to how contested it will be. I'll bet 80% of the people crying for fresh dont make it to 60. -

Engineering Battle Chicken squawk is very rare, is this intended?
Haestingas posted a topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Hi there, The engineering trinket Battle Chicken has an ability to squawk which increases melee attack speed by 5% for 3minutes. Unfortunately on Elysium atm the chicken squawks very rarely, with my personal results being 1/12 although I'll admit that's not a great sample size. I was wondering if this is an intended rate of squawkage, or if this could be improved to what I've seen on other servers which is every time you use this 30minute trinket, sometime during the chicken duration he will squawk. Thanks for your time, Haestingas -
The yellow hit cap is 8.6% for vanilla. This holds true for warriors, rogues, and hunters.
 -
The +hit change is very minimal when you add 5 weapon skill, I want to say 5 weapon skill is worth around .2% hit. The +% to hit effects all attacks that result in yellow dmg from your skillset, so that includes shield slam, shield bash, and pummel. Special attacks have the same miss changes regardless if you are using 2her, DW, or 1h + shield. So if you have +9% you are yellow hit capped no matter what spec. This 8.6% is the same for warriors, rogues, and hunters.

Haestingas replied to TheRealJindo's topic in Priest
No mention of tailoring for truefaith, which will be far and away BiS for 6 months on the fresh server is a pretty big miss. It's also BiS well into BWL, with only T2 chest being comparable. I'm not sure why you advocate using renew for raid healing. I'm not sure about your guild, but the majority of guilds over 80% of that heal will be wasted. You would be better off throwing a rank3-4 heal or a flash heal gear permitting. Sure there's some fights that come to mind like firemaw, and vael that renew is useful. But in general it's really just turned into overheal. Advocating imp renew over crit is pretty painful to look at. The renew doesn't scale with gear, it's just a base increase. Meanwhile the crit even if it turns into overhealing procs inspiration for the 25% armor bonus. There's some good information in your post, but even as a theorycrafting friendly person it's just too much. A lot of your info really is only useful in very late content and that should be emphasized.
