My character's name is Eirena and Ayrend on Darrowshire. I'm looking to pay 100g for Winter's might and 4 to all stats we can negotiate. (I will give you 115g for Winter's Might to cover the AH tax))

With the servers opening tomorrow I decided that I want to give playing a mage a try. After looking it up I see that gnomes are the best alliance mages, while trolls are the best horde mages. (Planning for PvE, not PvP) Does anyone know (Try without bias) which of the two is the best mage? (Does the bonus gnome int overshadow the berserking buff that trolls get? Or vice versa) Also what spec should I level as? I'm thinking ice from what I've seen so far in the mage talents.

I just tried to sign in and there is a 9k queue... Not complaining about the queue as 5k players in game vs 14k in game with horrible lag... I'd rather take the 5k and wait a while to get in but... I have a few questions. Does anyone have any info on what the server is limited to right now? Will the limit be raised/increased and if so when/to what? If you answer please include if you got your info from yourself, things you've heard, or something a GM actually said.

The discord channel suddenly disappeared out of my list of servers and when I try to click on the discord from the website it tells me that it is expired. I looked up to see why this happened and the only thing I can find is that they are having issues, or I got banned from the discord. There are quite a few people spamming in chat and the last thing I said was telling everyone what the website said on the server screen for PvE. (People online, Uptime, GM only, you know that stuff) Then a split second after I posted that the Elysium chat disappeared off my servers on the left without a trace. Is anyone having this issue too? Or was I banned from the chat accidentally? (I hope this is the right section. With all the lag it's impossible to go through the forums heh)

I still can't get onto it. Does anyone know how I contact whoever monitors the Discord so I can see why I can't connect? They must have banned me on accident >.>

I've played on WotLK servers as a raid leader Tankadin, (On a server which was x1 and the raid bosses had increased hp/damage) Cata as a Tankadin guild/raid leader, MoP as a Holy Paladin, and then when I joined Nost a while back I was playing as a Tankadin while leveling... I have a 48 Paladin but after looking into it... I don't know if I should keep playing her when the server reopens. I think I (for once) want to try out as lazy/stress-free dps class. Does anyone know what class that would be? I don't care about PvP, I just want to level PvE and want it to be a chill and relaxing way to 60. (Also what race with whatever class you suggest. I am a big time min-maxer so I need a definite on the best race for it.)

Exactly... Thank god. I had looked into all the classes today for the past 10 hours trying to figure out which would be the least-stressful lazy class and how I could min-max it... What I ended with was just what I was thinking in the first place which was a hunter, and a headache heh. Thank you all very much for all the advice, info, and opinions. It helped a lot.

PvE wise for alliance is NE the top tier race?

After looking into Shadowmeld and deciding that I hate the look of trolls, and I won't be BM at 60 in dungeons I was able to convince myself that the nightelf utility of stealth and the free nature resist is worth rolling as a Night Elf. (On my 48 Paladin I already had enough gold to purchase a level 60 mount if I remember right because I spent a lot of time on alchemy and selling potions. I'll probably pick up Skinning and LW on my hunter... Unless there is a better prof to take. If there is I might just take herbalism and alchemy to craft raid pots)

And a scorpid is good for leveling right? I read somewhere that in raids you don't even use your pet... But for dungeons at end game I saw that Broken Tooth has a 1 AS. Is he the best pet, or is there another?

I have a 48 Human paladin right now.. But I'm on the PvE server so I can always make a horde. I actually welcome the idea of making a horde.. That is if they have any Raiders on the horde side. The entire time I was in Nost people just trashtalked the horde saying they had no good raiding guilds so I hope that was just bs. I'm just going to be PvEing so I guess I'ma make myself a Troll. Hopefully I can make one that looks decent, I always spend like 30 minutes making a character then remake it after I get in game a few times before I'm finally happy. Thanks for all the info man!

It's been sooooo long since I heard that song. Used to listen to it on repeat when I was like 10 playing WoW with my friend. Good lord.

The moment someone told me as a hunter leveling you can just send your pet in and auto attack I was sold. I'm going to make a hunter. And from the research I've done it appears that for PvE Troll is the Min-Max best race to play as a hunter. Not for the bow spec but for the 5% dmg to beasts and the berserking buff. (If this is wrong someone please tell me. At this point I'ma make myself a troll hunter tomorrow)

Sweet, thanks a ton for that build man. Even if the race doesn't *really* matter I still have my inner min-max loving mindset that I need to satisfy or I won't be able to make one :l And oh snap hunter pets have skills in Vanilla that's right. I never knew that. I only rolled a hunter once in Cata for PvP madness.

Do you know what talent spec is the best in our version and the versions that'll come out? BM, Marksman, Surv, etc..? And what the best race is to play a hunter?.. Along with is a bow, gun, or crossbow the BiS item for them? (And thanks for all that info. Sounds like what I want. Does the water you learn to conjure help speed up leveling as well when trying to get 60? (Also what's the best PvE race mage if you know) Heh 2 comments, 2 people saying mage. So far I think I might go with that suggestion. Any idea on the best race for PvE mage?

I have a few stories that mostly involved my with my best friend Zack. 1 - The first time I made my own character on my own account I created a human rogue. My first death was to one of those giant demons that Warlocks can summon with help in goldshire... I remember getting so scared and since since that day I thought warlocks could kill other players at will. 2 - We had made a troll rogue and were running around the barrens when we saw an undead warlock. We quickly went into stealth worrying that he may have seen us. We spent a good few minutes hiding near the bristleback or whatever they're called enemies until he left... (We were like 10 and 12 years old or something. We did not understand that he was on our side.) 3 - Zack's dad gave him his level 52 paladin and I was playing my level 32 paladin. We ran DM/WC/SFK/Naga dungeon until I was fully geared in the best in slot stuff I could get for healing. We would try to run SM later on and fail but farm the trash with him tanking as ret and me healing him... So we decided to head to WC to try to hunt for the elusive expensive Savory Deviate Delight recipe when suddenly a 58 undead priest started to attack Zack. He ran and thankfully the priest didn't see me. But what did see me was a level 44 tauren warrior who started to attack me. (I know his level because later on Zack saw him and killed him for chasing me around) What followed was a priest trying to kill Zack and the warrior trying to kill me for a good 3 minutes. Eventually the Tauren (About 3 minutes) gave up attacking me and walked away, and Zack getting away by running into WC. The chaos was fun.

Well as a Warrior tank you use Sunder armor if I remember right on bosses and big adds to get/keep aggro... Leaves a lot of room to focus on the mechanics of the fight that way. (Healers usually are more stressful to control. You need to focus on keeping everyone alive (Depending on who you have to heal) and if a healer dies then you need to try to pick up their group they were healing as well.) If you want an easy class to learn mechanics I wouldn't try out a healer... Maybe not even a tank knowing some fights... I'd recommend playing as any of the ranged like dps.

As the title asks. Back on Nost I had a Paladin who I was still leveling when it closed down but I want to continue to play her once it reopens... How do I go about doing that?
