Consider rolling an ALLIANCE warlock. Looking for PvP-focused tips.
Fightmilk replied to Armkron's topic in Warlock
A warlock should never ever have problems against a pally. Unless your dueling outside org/sw, you should be using felhunter pet. It's the winning pet vs every class (cept rogue/war. Spell lock, dispel, CoT are the bread and butter of most fights once u learn how to use it. To beat a paladin all you have to CoT, fear, dispel stun. It won't matter if they dispel dots u can win fight by only using shadowbolt or searing pain for dmg. -rank 12 vanilla lock Mannoroth server -
It's not at this patch. Not exactly sure which one but it's either ZG or AQ40 patch.

Completely new to WoW - observations
Fightmilk replied to BoldAsLove's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
There is autorun in wow in fact earlier mmos had this feature also. It's always my first mousebind that i set. quality of life mechanic. I wonder how players don't use this. -

Why people want fresh so much?
Fightmilk replied to brunoviek's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You guys realise not everyone played on nost 1.0 right? If you had choice, starting at lvl 1 to join a server with geared 60s on day 1 or to join a fresh server where everyone starts at lvl 1, which would you choose? Seems like a pretty easy choice for me. -
Help newbie decide faction on PVE realm
Fightmilk replied to Khorinis1's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
A working windfury can increase melee dps by like 15/20%. Also once a MT gets thunderfury the risk of pulling aggro goes way down. It devalues salv imo. -

Ppl always say alliance is better in pve raids but shamans are just as amazing as paladins. And the first guild to clear naxx was on horde. -
The amount of politics in general chat is getting out of hand.

I must be a freedom hater! Next stop north korea! -

I completely agree with op. World chat in wow has always been cancer. I've been in many games where gms mod the chat for trolls and honestly it makes the community better as a whole. Started playing on kronos a month ago and i was shocked how toxic global chat was. The kind of stuff rubs off on a community. I myself started to to notice myself acting semi toxic. And i'm a nice guy who's trolling days are long gone. That freedom of speech talk is complete bs. It's never ok to be a bully or a racist or making death threats. Using freedom of speech as an excuse is a way of justifying being a troll. -
I never played pally in vanilla but switched over in tbc. Ret pally became viable raid dps in tbc because of windfury. Pretty ironic since pally never had it available in vanilla.

What server will you end up on months from now?

Uthgard. Just killing time till a legit pvp mmo server is open. -
These are NOT the Nostalrius Core servers, we were promised.
Fightmilk replied to Gehere's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Yep cause im sure the "nost core" had no bugs at release! Hell even retail wow in vanilla had huge issues (server stability) to the point where raid times were laggy as hell. It held guilds back in progress. It didnt get fixed till they updated server hardware (one server at a time). -
Like other ppl said, deaths in wow are not that noticable since there was no penalty. Playing DAOC years ago one spell resist could knock off hours of xp grinding. The anger was real.

On the warrior rage fix that is what it was like im vanilla. The better gear defensive gear you had the less rage generation you got. I remember tanks would remove pieces of armor to increase rage generation. If you were struggling with rage it usually means you outgeared the content and could afford to remove some armor pieces.

That moment you realize Ret Paladins don't have Crusader Strike or Divine Storm
Fightmilk replied to Vaulken's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I remember back in beta paladins got a anytime weapon style (crusader strike) and oh man were they op as hell. No surprise they removed it before release or shortly after.
