The Farmers play just in the intention of trading gold currency into real cash. It's prone to botting, and can lead to : Channel spam / bad first impression for newcomers (P2W) / market inflation / huge ban waves (buyers included) / ... Dunno if it can also trigger copyright rules to a certain extent, as Private servers tend to stay 100% free, in order to avoid Blizzard attention.

I played a Tauren Warrior for all the Nostalrius life, got Rank 10 Zin'Rock and Engineer, First Aid at maxskill. With couple Free action pots, played premade and this is my feeling You're not totally wrong, good players turn the Class at their advantage. Overall the point is more that, Warrior isn't a noob nor casual class. To be as effective you need WAY MORE investments, in all gear, skill, PVE, PVP and money wise. Still, Warrior was by far the most played class on Nost, and sometimes the crying was massive.

Well I'm in a good mood to whine about Warrior, today You won't have fun with a PVP Warrior, unless you accomplish thoses requirements : At the beginning, is the Warrior. It deals 0 damage, and die in the first 30s of fight. ==> Arms specialisation. You need an epic raid weapon found usually on last raid bosses, or The Unstoppable Force (Alterac Valley Hammer), or Arcanite Reaper (expensive blue crafted axe), but 2H Swords spec is superior. You know deal amazing damage, but still are diededed pretty fast. ==> Rank 10 gear, or equivalent. It means a rare or better in all slots. You know deal damage, survives better but at this point of the game all geared classes will still pown, root, snare or kite you to death. ==> You need a pocket Healer, or a dedicated premade groupe wich will assure you can move freely and stay at least alive. Congrats ! You successfully went from worst to best PVP class ! More random tips : Gnome Racial makes best PVP Warrior, Alliance Paladins will get you better assist, but Horde Shaman's Windfury Totem decuples your damages to an Oneshoot level. Engineering can help you a lot (with all gimmicks, you're even able to kill a Frost Mage !) Free Action Potions is a Must-Have. First Aid helps, too. Also, just forget about 1vs1 and WPVP, this isn't the Class you're looking for.

Warrior is hands-down the most hardcore choice you could get for an opening realm of this envergure. Check the Warrior's Beginners post I recently writed in the according forum.

I would highly prefer getting ganked and die every 20 min than a PVE server, IMO. Tried it once, nothing seem more wrong than an opposite faction player with blue name and waving at you. People love Vanilla for the open-world experience, being a tiny and insignificant soldier of the Alliance/Horde, in a world full of dangers. Slow levelling, slow and no-flyings mounts, classes imbalance and the particular "moins tu dors, plus t'es fort" grinding gear Vanilla philosophy contributes to that. But nothing is more immersive than this special PVP insecurity feeling you get, at first step out of town. My two big loves being making opposite players arch-nemesis (you know, this guy you meet and fight to death during all your 1 to 60 time) and the huge paranoid feeling Rogues provides, wich more than often don't let you scratch your masculines attributes during killing a regular mob.

In fact ... WARRIOR CONS (80% of your experience, bad gear) : - Hard levelling time (only 1vs1 mobs and some may kill u, then wait the eating regen) - No survivability, all health point is lost to death - No way to grind money - High repair costs - PVP to PVE or PVE to PVP ? Respec $$ (also mean to farm 2 sets) - No real PVE Tier sets unless for Tanks, so most War raid gear will just feed your Tanks - Worst solo PVP (can kill other Warriors and roflstomp bad Rogues) - PVP need epic weapon wich need PVE raids wich need wanting to roll and compete for 2H in dual wield spec = GG - Clunky and noob unfriendly gameplay (may be subjective) - Paladin or Frost mage ? Most of the time you better AFK - ... WARRIOR PROS (20% of your experience, good gear) : - most BADASS looking gear, weapons and sets - Epic gear and pocket healer / premade = godlike. 2H Sword spec. Mortal Strike. Might feel powerful every 30 min with "I win" CD. - rewarding, difficulty feeling - excellent gear scaling - dem ccrits on noob rogues. (Rogue being always overpopulated and rather noob friendly being a plus) Roast me for I spoke the Truth.

You really shouldn't click dat "Warrior" button, except if you are a hardcore gamer. (in the sense you're ready to devote a really significant playing time to hit). Otherwise your Vanilla WOW experience will have a lot in common with Dark Souls. Source : being a low-average skill but high playing time Warrior for 1 year and a half of Nostalrius. Ayy lmao. Been a real no-lifin' machine on Nost, backpeddalin' from day 1 to the very last day, Rank 10, all BG reps and epic weapon as an anti-social Warrior. Still gonna reroll on fresh realm as I personally find the all-level-1 journey way more funny than just raidlog. Can't wait ... But then, all the drama tears and common players entitlement, is way more savoursome than if the Vanilla server was aired right now ...
