Yeah, we get it...Anathema is under attack from another server! I'm not accusing the staff of neglecting the server, like a few shit heads might have you believe...but If this persists, it will be our third straight BWL that the server has fucked us out of. I mean, I get that this is a free service, and I know that you guys are busting your asses, and we greatly appreciate it... but that doesn't make it any less annoying. Especially when guilds are racing to prepare for AQ, and the only thing slowing them down is the server connectivity. Just one concerned man's opinion.

I could honestly care less what the community thinks. This was a directed at the GM's/Dev team.

I see it differently. NOPE had the server paid for thru the next couple months. When they back charged their donation it flagged Anathema as a fraud account. There's nothing they could have done about that. The way I see it, people just assumed Anathema had this endless supply of cash flow, and they needed no help funding the servers. Not only has this incident further debunked the irrational claims about GMs funding the server in dishonest ways, but it sheds a light on the financial support the community has provided them with....(or lack thereof) The most important thing we can learn from this incident is...if us as members didn't think it was important to give back, even if just a little from time to time.....we understand now!

Might be more enticing for people to donate if there were a visual graph showing how much has been donated and how much is still needed!

Just use a VPN until the issue resolves itself.

Seems to be quite a widespread issue with AT&T users in North America. Any chance we could get an update on if it's a host issue, or any information at all on the subject?

Just read some special snowflake's "list of demands" that would be required to save the server. From a reasonable frame of mind, just keep doing what you're doing, team. Thank you for a fantastic product that me and my friends continue to enjoy. Looking forward to future content release. Take your time....remember, you owe this community nothing. If nothing had been said, the vast majority of the community would never have found out, Alexsensual would be removed from his now lofty pedestal you gave him, and you could simply and humbly ask for more donations as the time drew closer to needing additional funds. People who think leveling as dagger spec being sup-par, are just lazy. It's called Gouge > BS > SS > eviscerate. usually the mob is pretty close to dead by then. Is it more tedious than spamming Sinister strike all day? Yes, but leveling as daggers can be just as effective just as long as you know what you're doing.

Getting this error whenever I try to log into my account and set up my authentication. I know the PW is correct because I just changed it. Anybody know how to fix? Having same issues?

Recruited this guy Thursday, Got a report from 3 different people in a group from him that he ninja'd Medallion of Grand Marshall Morris. Was asked to equip, and he lied about being bugged in "Combat". So I came to check the forums and found this completely separate incident. Definite ninja, and a no-brainer kick for anybody else who might accidentally pick him up.

I realize this announcement was just made this morning, but until either the Elysium staff or Nostalrius staff comes forward and confirms whether or not Blizzard was behind this Nostalrius departure, your forums/world chat/guild chat will be flooded with speculation. What does it mean for Elysium's future if Blizzard WAS behind the Nostalrius departure? Would that also mean Blizzard has taken a more aggressive approach to shutting down private servers? To what extreme would Elysium cave to the demands of Blizzard? Like I said, I understand this just happened today. Have a guildy who transferred over his main acct. and is getting a "no active characters yet" message. Like, Elysium is not detecting any characters on his account....where his other 2 accts worked just fine. Any ideas?

(orange loot reserved) This will also be an opportunity for anybody returning to Old Nost who is guildless to join us! We have a very strong core who have played together on multiple private servers, and have 8/8 BWL experience. We will be running a class oriented Loot Council, and raid on Tues & Thurs 7:30pm CST. The only role we have no vacancy for at the moment is Tank. All else are welcome! You can either PM on here to reserve your spot (first come first serve), or whisper me in-game next Saturday/Sunday! Reddit also generally hated Nostalrius when it was live.....so if that's any indication of the demographic of people voting in those straw polls

Yeah, and according to straw polls, Trump was supposed to lose the election! My point is, those straw polls account for about 15k players.... .....yesterday there were FORTY THOUSAND people who signed up for the stress test alone. Regardless of what you "fresh realm boners" like to claim, there is still a very large demand for the old server, and i'd like to see the server percentages once both Old and Fresh are established communities. I think it will be much closer than you think. Why? -Some people are going to roll toons starting the 17th, and even if they initially have no desire to stay, they get sucked into their toon and guilds, and continue playing on the old server. -People who are going back to old nost don't give 2 shits about "straw polls"...or care to bother with them. -The majority of people who play Fresh will be players who were nowhere near established on old Nost. And for that I cannot blame them. However, a very large percentage of that server is established, and there are a boat load of people who would like to see content beyond MC/Onyxia/BWL... There is still A LOT of work to be done on Old Nost to those who aspire for Naxx. According to the original vanilla timeline, old nost wasn't even half progressed yet. I repeat, there are a BOAT LOAD of people who have absolutely no desire in starting all over again. At the end of the day, both servers should host a very supple population with all of the benefits and disadvantages of a highly populated server. The End.

Additionally, I would love to see the fresh realm launch sooner rather than later. Reason? The less time we have to worry about these neck-beards with a raging "fresh start boner" trolling the old nost server. The sooner Elysium can drop the fresh realm, the sooner the old realm will stabilize both mechanically and community wise.
