Yeah, copying your character would be the ideal scenario. I don't think they could MAKE you transfer your toon.

First of all, I'd like to thank the team of developers and GMs for providing us this amazing, blizzlike Vanilla experience. What you guys have overcome over the past 7 months is massively impressive, and I personally appreciate all the hard work you put into operating this server.... That being said.... I don't think it's any mystery that the server population has been on a slow and steady decline since even before AQ40 launched. I've seen guilds die, then merge, then die again...all because people just keep disappearing. But where are they going? Warmane's "Outland" server is where. It's still beyond me that so many people could be attracted to P2W servers, not to mention accelerated leveling. The fact I can level a toon from 1 and be raiding Karazhan within a couple of weeks is absurd. I know the vast majority of the private server community prefer the Authentic experience as it was back in the olden days, so why are people still flocking there by the troves right now? I have no doubt in my mind that if you guys released a BC server, it would be a more refined, and less watered down version of the wildly popular realm over on Warmane right now...So why not? Why not AT LEAST announce that there are plans, or even just the desire to create a Burning Crusade server? Unless your guys plans end at Naxxramas. If they do, so be it. But I can almost GUARANTEE if you had plans beyond Naxxramas, the community would return. The long and short of it is, OG nostalrius players want to continue their legacy on their toons they created over 2 years ago now. It's been a long strange trip through Vanilla, and we'd hate to see Naxx be the end of it. All of the time and effort invested into these characters. I know I speak for many others when I say I want to see my main running through the dark portal. My main that I created in April of 2015. I have over 100 game played days logged on my toon, and I know many many others who have their time invested here, but have recently decided to call it quits.... ...If you build it, they will come! ;-)

To elaborate on this point a bit further.... You have to understand that on the flip side of the coin, if you do NOT have plans beyond Naxxramas, people would raid until they killed Kel'Thuzad and then literally quit this game and server forever. What would be the point in sticking around and gearing up your character to end game BiS if there were a big fat "dead end" sign right behind Kel'Thuzad?

Hello there! First of all, a little bit about us; We're a NA raiding guild who has been together since re-launch, all content on farm besides AQ40 (2/9). We are currently restructuring and optimizing our raid core! We are looking for players on the try-hard side of the spectrum to help compliment our core! What I mean by this is, players who are showing up to raids OVER prepared. Players who understand the minor nuances of their class, which helps them perform to the utmost ability. We are not an elitist guild, but we hold our raiders to high standards. We know how to have a good time, but we are of the mindset that when you show up to raid, you show up to work. There are no Discord rage fits (contrary to the guild name lol), but we are very serious about utilizing our time as efficiently as possible. Our raid times are Tuesday & Thursday @ 7pm CST. @ "Logging into Game Server....." If ive had this problem for days, what could the issue be? Appeared out of nowhere. Anybody else have a suggestion aside from going through a VPN?

You can log in with a VPN. Most people don't consider that a fix though, just a temporary solution.

Horde guild <Reign> wiped our fully buffed BWL group last Thursday while we were standing outside UBRS waiting to get the fire buff....So, it goes without saying we took great pleasure in returning the favor last night before BWL. Their corpses lay strewn about and scattered in the hallway leading to the orb as they desperately tried to escape the hellfire/blizzards and relentless melee seige. If anybody from <Reign> is reading this....you'd better start early next week, or you can expect the same results. :)

I posted a suggestion pertaining the herb spawn rates on an earlier date. Never in my life have I seem gromsblood at 50g a stack. Plaguebloom at 80g. Black lotus at 140g Can somebody please inform me if this is blizzlike, and if not can we PLEASE fix this madness? Thank you.

I want to make a few points to those who keep crying "server is dying!" I don't think anybody is arguing about the decline of server pop. A few major contributing factors are, for one, the drama surrounding the development team a little over a month ago....and Alexsensual's dumbass brigade. Imo, the server has hit rock bottom already and will be on the increase starting with AQ launch. Why? Well, for one, there will always be a demand for a private vanilla wow server. Two, and frankly, there aren't any better options out there. The drama that once surrounded this team is now a distant memory, and with the resignation of Shenna, the mercenaries who jumped ship when all that drama went down will slowly file back in after AQ launches. I played Kronos 2, and if THAT population survived the relaunch of Nostalrius, this place ain't going anywhere. In addition to all of that...in retrospect, it may have been better to wade through the queues until the hype died down so we saw a more nost like, and accurate reflection of the dedicated player base. The Nostalrius community isn't dead, it is very much alive....just, its split 3 different ways now, instead of on one server. A few things to consider.

I know quite a few guilds that still raid over there...and now that they merged the two servers, the population is respectable again. I'm just trying to encourage people not to give up because their realm population might be half of what it was 4 months ago...

Lastly, I meant to give a shout out to the GM and Dev team for persevering through the constant assault of Ddos and forum trolling/flaming.

Precisely... Now, I propose they adjust the spawn rate to make farming raid consumables achievable again. To be quite honest, it saps the fun right out of the game when you can't even farm your own mats to use in raids, and every non-raiding moment in game is spent running non-productive circles around EPL and un'goro, or farming gold just so you can scrape by for 70g stacks of mongoose, or Titans flasks... Adjust the spawn rate on the herbs so us non-no-lifers can enjoy the basic pleasures of vanilla once again. Sure, Vanilla is supposed to be grindy....that's why we all love it. This isn't 'grindy', this is broken.

Personally, for what it's worth, I'd like to see the herb spawn rate adjusted to the current pop levels. These inflated prices lead me to believe they haven't changed it from the Nostalrius dynamic spawn rate, before the population was split up between 2 other servers, when the avg server population was 9-11k. Farming herbs has become progressively harder since Anathema relaunched, the herb prices have trended north as the population has trended south...and now that we seem to have plateaued around 3-5k online during peak....the herb spawn rate is just painfully low. that is my hypothesis on why you're paying 18g per mongoose, and what I would like to see changed.

This isn't a mafia, this is a product of dynamic herb spawns not being adjusted since the server was an average pop of 9-11k. Under the current dynamic, anytime the server pop is 3.5k or less, hardly anything spawns anymore. Its outrageous.

I cant be certain, but it seems to me that the herb spawn rate and dynamic timers are still adjusted to when the server was pushing 8-10k people. Correct me if im wrong. Is there any chance at an overhaul for herb spawns rates in the near future? Is this something that has been talked about?

I heard a rumor recently that 8/8 is no longer BiS (under current content) for a sword rogue. I heard that they nerfed the proc rate. I'm combat daggers, so I cant say i've personally experimented with it, but can anybody confirm this? If so, that would make Boots of the Shadow flame the BiS for all rogues, correct?
