This is as close to a true vanilla pve server you will get. I see the pop is not an issue. Most people stand aorund in IF lol.. as a rogue i never seem to find issues getting into groups... Understand.. there is way less pugging in vanilla.. most are guild groups. There are raiding guilds.. they raid... so..

Darrowshire is healthy and populated. Was close to 2k this weekend.. Kindly stfu ps from darrowshire

Well Alliance on a pve server will always be in fav of alliance. Really as long as you have a decently active guild with a decent active friends list you won't have issues. I say go horde and have fun!! Remember this is a game... so disregard posts like are above me.. just asshats talking.. you will find that alot in wow :D

please stop spreading BS. Communities will drop in pop over time, right not there is 1300 people on.. in July... since the start the pop has hovered anywhere from 800-2k. Its still on par with blizz like... and i never really have issues finding a group as a rogue. Multi Raids are clearing content I do feel for the horde tho at 30%... Fake news! hmmm not 100% accurate info. You will have the ability to top... however any pure dps class can top meters. A great deal of vanilla is based on the individual player and not gear... skill will always pwn gear in vnailla. I played vanilla as a rogue and raids where typically (rogue/mage/warrior) for dps... warriors typically where 3-5 where rogues/mages held 1-3 spots a mix of some others depending on fights. all the way up to KT... PS.. play what you want man... fury warriors do a fine job and bring utility to raids... there one of the top dps classes in vanilla

I have had little issues finding groups at all times. Around ZF-ST area it can be a bit slim... but you can find them. Make sure to join world chat...

Half empty?? More Blizzlike... which was around 2k peeps. Darrowshire is a fantastic server. Friendly groups/people, helpful community for the most part. there is PVP. Battlegrounds run weekly. Alot of premades. yesturday around 2500 online players. During the week it does go down... around 1-2k ish. Have fun!

don't listen tohaters... There is a reason why we play the game... its better... As far as the classes. I have a warrior tank and a rogue. I find warriors tanking to be alot of fun and demanding but recently moved to rogue becuase i wanted something different. There really all fun classes to play. Druids are the least played, and at cap you will likely be expected to heal. Most raiding guilds are set on tanks but from time to time a spot opens up... Easier to get into raids as a dps or healing class. Pick a class and play it to around 10.. you should get a feel for what its about...play and enjoy the game :D

Good day. I am going to be starting a new shaman and looking for a bit of info from vets. I want to be-able to heal at any lvl but also have decent grinding ability. What would you guys recommend as a spec and what gear should i focus on for healing? Thanks in advance.

also what prof's would you recommend for pve healing? and addons?

your giving contradicting info... in one instance you say you logged into control panel to resend and in the next you say you can't. Some web sites don't send to some email address.. I had no issue.. sounds like a pebkac..

Whats the point of your post ? RIght now almost 1500 players on... its 7:30 est time. People have lives... Darrowshire is a very stable realm, with low BS, and alot of active players. Don't post butt hurt threads because your lonely 38 w/e it is can't find a group... PS... welcome to Vanilla Mate..

So i decided to respec to prot and get use to vanilla tanking again. I must say i really forgot how demanding it can but when you first start up again. AoE tanking my way through several dungeons i found i had no issues at all... What i tended to do was charge/stance, BR, SB, BS, revenge primary, then start tab sunderung.. retruning to the primary to toss sunders/ and tab shield slamming other.. etc. Thats it... The key thing is DPS can't blow there load to fast... if they do just good luck... might as well strap on dps gear and join them. Vanilla tanking is far more engaging then retail tanking .. needs a bit of effort.. and a worn out tab key.:D Just keep practicing... i found with every run the dust being shaking off.. and my tanking got more solid with me taking less dmg and loss agro less often. Remeber you have conc blow/and three taunts... use them :D I also used no tricks with gear/etc, however i do say bombs definaly help.. having a stun bomb helps over those hunters who like to multi shot on pull or mages who run in and do there ice crap... alot of castors don't understand melee TPS differs from range TPS...

Warrior Duldrums... hand in there warrior brother... it gets better and at 60 you can either tank or dps... i had the same issue around 44ish... remeber to rest in INN's and its cool to take a few days off from time to time.

I would say anything over 3+ tagerts and they should be CCed. If you can;t spam BS and start tabbing You should beable to easily handle 3 targets. Revenge, sunder, SS... you will be generating more rage as more targets are hitting you. However... if you have a hunter using multi shot with 1 second of pull or a mage AoE as you are pulling.. good luck mate.. find a better group.

its vanilla like. Was the same in vanilla went up by 5 gold and capped at 50. Then takes forever to go down in cost AT lvl 40 i hat over 90 gold. I vendored all grays. used the AH to sell. Had skinning.Its not hard to find ways to make gold... this is not retail where gold is tossed at you like candy.

Good god man where do you get your info... On off peak Darrowshire is around 2k... during onpeak around 2.5-3 and on weekends or atleast last it was close to 3.6k.. Dying server myth... really bud get your facts correct. The pop on Darrowshire is about where a mature vanilla server was which is fine with me and most peeps i play with. The raiding community is good with multi guilds clearing MC and a few in BWL. More guilds up and coming.. alot of pop is around 50ish atm. I don't think we need another PVE however...
