From the source code: else if (skillDiff < -10) missChance -= (skillDiff + 10) * 0.4f - 2.0f; // 7% base chance to miss for big skill diff (%6 in 3.x) else missChance -= skillDiff * 0.1f; So with 300 weaponskill against a 315 defense skill, I would have +4% miss (on top of the 24% normal miss chance with DW). And with 305 weaponskill only +1% miss. Am I reading this right? This would mean that weapon skill (being >=305) is really really important on this server, since it gives extra hit (>3) in addition to improving glancing blow dmg.

Here I copied this from the thread: "Our initial attempts to fix the issues without a full reversion were unsuccessful. Once we had exhausted all other options, we started working on a way to revert to the latest stable patch." So it seems they really did revert the changes.

Wasn't this whole patch reverted because it caused so many massive bugs?

Nobody I talked to on Darrowshire thinks the population is too low. I think it's kinda funny how people, who don't even play on the server, want to create a problem where none is.

I interpret it as him saying he used a "fixed damagerange" weapon. So like a sword with 100-100 damage or something like that for testing.

If the item progression is the same as it is on Darrowshire, some items don't start dropping until 1.6 (BWL) release like Onslaught Girdle or Sash of Whispered Secrets.

What is the base miss chance for dualwielding-warriors on this server? 24% or 27%? I have seen both values being tossed around.
