Unfortunately the developers care more about "protecting the economy" than the legitimacy of their server. The recent DM E farming nerf is proof of this, essentially hurting regular players farming DM if it hurts the chinese gold farming mages as well, heaven forfend they actually go after those accounts instead of heavily nerfing a legitimate farming strategy. The GMs also are particularly worrying, our domo loot chest despawned on Tuesday and despite having multiple screenshots and actual raidlogs of the kill and not receiving loot from the event we were told that we needed a video of the chest despawning, very unprofessional, kind of kills any incentive when poor scripting hurts the players yet again.

It should not be for the devs to decide which farming methods are viable, adding extra elite patrol packs hurts the legitimacy of the server if you call it ''blizz-like''. Can we get some clarification that this was intended and isn't a bug, please?

This is a really flawed understanding of the economics of the game. Both methods create gold from nothing, it's the players that give items value. You can do the same thing at Tyr's Hand for high value greys and cloth or the Lumbermill camp in the plaguelands for aoe farming, the only difference is that DM E is instanced. Isn't the point of PvE that you beat the environment for rewards instead of other players? Why take out a fun, relaxing aspect of the game that wasn't directly affecting anyone? As proven by your own screenshot, this doesn't deter the 24hr/day Chinese farmers, only the regular players, so how is this a helpful ''balance'' change in any way? I really hope this was an oversight on the devs' part, because it's a stupid, myopic change to have made to something for no reason.

Any special plans? farming lotus or taming broken tooth perhaps? get tidal charm trinket or farm rare recipes?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIprcu4SNcA This is how druids pvp'd in vanilla, extensive use of stance-switching, diverse talent points, consumables, and green whelp armour, which was subsequently nerfed to the ground. Druids are trash in vanilla unfortunately, they can outlast some classes but will almost always be at a disadvantage vs most classes once the druid's defensive cooldowns are done. Obviously they're still unrivalled flagrunners. Hunter imo has a very high skillcap/ceiling but a low floor, the cc a good hunter can put on the field is ridiculous. In vanilla viper sting is a no cooldown mana burn, super annoying to deal with. Broken tooth crushes casters and the range of tools available to hunters is sickening. Druids are much more sought after in raid settings though if that influences your decision.

This was my recollection as well.

Rimworld, crazy addictive game with a tonne of replay value.

Very doubtful seeing as they could not get the correct content onto the Nost pve server, even months after it had been released on the pvp server they weren't actually successful in implementing the items correctly during the DM patch on the pve server. I think they eventually corrected it, but it took a player from the realm making a comprehensive list of the incorrect items stats/missing items to get it fixed. It's not a criticism because Nost is (was) an amazing server, but you might want to temper your expectations.

PvE server has an amazingly friendly community btw, you won't regret rolling here, whether it's alliance or horde. We even have the legendary waxface for our amusement.

horde queues were generally instant, but the drawback was that at off-peak times you may enter a 1vs5 wsg, on either side tbh. premades tend to run things at peak times and weekends more, alliance tended to dominate av. horde tended to dominate ab, wsg was a tossup most of the time. alliance were 55-60% of the server iirc.
