Nothing unexpected. The point of the server was just that, to experience all the content progressively, as you would on a Blizzard server. If you want new content then go tryhard on Nost PvP, you'll have AQ and Naxx there soon (instead of waiting 2 years for Naxx on Elysium PvP)

If you are a Social it doesn't matter, you can play whatever you want. But if you want a permanent Raid spot boomkin is not viable. Once we Progress through content and put it on farm status, you can come as a boomkin then with us (provided you at least have some pre-Raid BiS ready). Someone ALWAYS AFKs anyways so your DPS won't matter that much tbh. But you'll still kinda have to pull your own weight a bit =p

Because its more direct. IP bans can be evaded with VPNs or by simply having dynamic IP. But also if you range banned someone, another person might be banned as well (and its they are totally innocent) so no reason to do that, better to avoid it.

Naah, the hype will die down, the peeps will go back to Nost PvP or PvE but the server won't die. It will have a high population for sure. Its a Fresh Vanilla PvP Server and carries the brand of Nostalrius with it, just by that its going to attract a lot of new people who weren't even playing on Nost. But let's wait and see, everyone is making their own predictions, we'll know in a month or two and then its still kinda Fresh so people who are too afraid to go there now can tag along for the ride as well

Cap is probably higher than on any server you've played on, Old Nost went to even 14k peeps now its a bit lower. Play on Old Nost if you don't want to wait to play. The Fresh one will be a bit rough the first few days, you better wait a bit until it stabilizes then try it. Also, if you are new to Vanilla then the Fresh one might be better because the content is progressive, you'll get more out of your Vanilla experience. (But also you'll be grinding the same 2 raids for half a year as well so...) Cheerios
