Yesterday we had to fend off ~100 hordes in BRM to enter our raid. Together with DEMISE we managed to stop them (almost) every step of the way and enter MC with only 9 people dead from Praise. After that we entered MC and put in a speedrun of 36 minutes without fully world buffed! Thanks to all for helping out! Videos are below. So after yesterday's Azuregos I found that the emperical evidence of that day was contrary to what GM Indormi (I hope I spelled it right) said. I have not made a bug report about it because in the thread that I quote his message from is a lot of conflicting information. Here it is: What actually happened yesterday was the following: we pulled Azuregos past the bridge to the east, far removed from his patrol and thus his pull position. When we wanted to reset him at 40%, we ran out of range, some hordes had aggro. It reset for like 0.1 seconds and horde got the tag, on the island, at 40%. This means that the information provided by the GM seems to conflict with what happened yesterday. My question: is this then a bug, or did he misunderstand the intended mechanic? Or is there another explanation for this? Kind regards, Yindo from Praise.

Yeah, doh... What I mean to get at is, if you don't use GFPP, then you might as well not use them at all regardless of being able to prepop. Because for most instances, preopping simply means healers doing nothing at the start of the fight.

If you use regular fire prot pots, you might as well use major healing potions tbh ;p

Well yes, that's also one of the problems. During both the 28% retag and 15% retag we did as Praise the boss didn't even reset fully to its original pull location. But even when it is kited back to its pull location and resetted there, tagging it there at 15% would still reduce enjoyment of the world boss encounter for reasons mentioned above.

Yeah, I've decided to put updating it on hold for now until I manage to get more free-time

Heh, for this realm it will likely rise to 10g/each GFPP

Could you explain to us why this particular case has to be blizzlike, whereas other cases (herb, lockpicking, DM farming methods) didn't have to be blizzlike? I would like to put this issue into a wider context

Make a guide, plebs comment because it's anti-mainstream. Had the same thing happen to my priest guides, people are clueless

Well, can you make an unblizzlike change to it so that if it resets it is actually evading it's health back to 100% or something? This kind of mechanic, though blizzlike, is not good for the health and enjoyment of world boss encounters.
