No I have the same problem, as far as I can see there is no way to log into your non-forum nost account yet, so just hang tight for a solution.

It's mostly just kids, I was like this when I was growing up, giving it the big one all day then when push came to shove I hid in a corner and pretended I didn't exist. I think I have grown up since then.

So I need to log into nost without an email and create an account for elysium, none of these options are available yet so I assume we just wait till 6 GMT and all becomes clear! I ended up watching dreamstate videos from nost in MC and bwl, good way to burn 2 hours waiting for the servers.

To tell you the truth I have never put too much thought into why blizzard won't do legacy, I havnt much care either, someone out there will provide the service, either nost/Elysium for free in their spare time or blizzard and charging for the service (which I have no problem with at all). That article does make sense and if that is the case, I won't hold my breath for official legacy. Probably not senior game devs or project leaders but the top cunt in the legal department firing out legal threats to any one breaking IP rules.

To the best of my knowledge, old nost pvp accounts and old Elysium accounts (that where frozen some weeks ago) will be merged onto 1 server. Nost account and character names will take priority over Elysium and all Elysium items will be downgraded to match nosts loot table. All your items and levels and characters should remain intact.

I am not a law expert at all, this is just what I beleive to be true from my brief encounter with game development and the eventuality of selling your software. They have to be seen making an effort to protecting their property, they are legally obligated to attempt to shut down illegal use of their software. Which they do, nostalrius just made it even more public than others to make a bit of noise and rally the crowd to get behind them. Some one correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah I was committed to to starting fresh to stay in the loop with leveling but I'm leaving in April to travel so really I should just continue what I have on nost and progress as far as I can in the time I have, you should be fine, it will be overpopulated but I bet there is alot more people leveling, compared to level 60s raiding, you won't be alone.

The stress tests seemed successful, I wasn't a part of it but seen plenty of videos and read some stuff, sure there was lag, and the queue was out the door and round the block but it did something right.

You wanted to do SM as alliance, cool, your a rogue, your mate is a warrior, need 2 more dps and a healer, spam /1 and /2 for some crackin chaps to group with. Nice you have your 5 man. Now walk allllllllll the way to the top of the map from southshore. Oh wait, 3 / 5 people have yet to go beyond the wetlands and your healer has yet to get the menethil flight path. So, 2 people fly to southshore, and walk to SM, takes about 15 mins. And 2 people fly to menethil and walk to southshore, which takes about 20 mins. And then those 2 people collect southshore flight path and begin the southshore-SM commute, add another 15 mins to that journey. And your fearless healer! god bless him, is walking from ironforge. Thats like a 40 minute journey. A summoning stone? what the ваууs that. Who plays warlock any way. So all this time, your band of merry adventurers are dipping and diving through horde territory, passing UC/Alterac/WPL/, dodging enemies with unidentifiable levels and horde players just minding their own business until level 35 alliance guys rock on through. Do you see what I am getting at here? Probably not, it sounds awful. It was amazing. A real sense of adventure. Now you just click 1 button, 13 seconds later you have a group of 5 and instantly teleported to the dungeon and nothing needs CC'ing because every one is faceroll. You don't connect with those other 4 people, every one is faceless, you forget them as soon as you kill the last boss and click leave, back to ironforge or what ever the вау city is the best these days. Vanilla and BC you made friends, you had a reputation, you interacted with people, it was fan dabby dozy. If you wanted something, you earned it, and you worked hard for it, you where not instantly greeted with amazing gear and 2 weeks after dinging max level you where decked out with raid quality epics. /rant
