I find that on MMO champion a ton of anti Legacy players claim they came from Vanilla. I have played from Vanilla to MoP then unsubbed several times in WoD and do not play Legacy. Almost no one I know plays anymore. I know 3 people from a half dozen guilds that I played with for ten years. That means likely 3 of several hundred. Yet all the Legion fan boys seem to claim they all came from Vanilla and Legion is better. I call shenanigans. The retail version of the game is not an RPG anymore. Overall game, I would say is inferior but that is my opinion. I think it is worse because the classes or homogeneous, the quests are lame, they killed the lore and the convenience items took away from the experience. But like I said, my opinion. When I try to log on I don't even go into que. It just says "Disconnected from Server". I am getting authenticated and everything but this is the only message I get. Any ideas?

Is this a program? I only see the screenshots listed.

Easy question for everyone. The patch 1.12 download emulator allows you to printscreen to create screenshots. Unfortunately these screenshots come out in an unreadable format. When I try to open them with the default photo programs in windows 7 and 10, they end up being a bunch of jibberish and no actual screen shot. Is there an easy way to convert these screenshots into actual pictures, so that I can document my journey to 60?

As I am excited for a fresh start I wanted to put my thoughts to paper (or pixels in this case). I do not remember which patch I started playing on back in Vanilla, but I can say from the moment I logged in, I saw a world that would transform me for the better. It was a world of fantasy where a game found a perfect area for cultivating relationships and server community. As I leveled (which took me a long time), I met many people that I became very fond of, as well as many enemies that I knew on a name basis. I became part of a guild where I was able to help guild mates and received more help than I deserved. The journey never seemed like a grind, and was full of exciting new turns, dungeons, zones, enemies as well as player characters that I learned to loathe and friendships that still exist today. When you try to explain these things to a retail player, they do not understand. Yes the graphics were not as good. Yes the game lacked convenience attributes. Yes the game took a lot longer. But some of these things made the game great. I played for years, unsubbing over and over as I felt lost to the game that seemed to not exist any longer. I think it finally hit me in WoD that the game was no longer an RPG, but instead it was just a video game. WoW had devolved in the name of "making a better game". Whenever the fresh start server starts up, I will be joining. I look forward to playing on the Horde side. Ganking alliance as well as getting ganked. I look forward to the teamwork that a real RPG requires, as well as experiencing the amazing quests of yesteryear. There are so many exciting places to see that I cannot actually type them into this window, but I hope to see you there.
