PvE is a good choice for RP for obvious reasons. But in case you are still looking for a guild, may I inform you of the guild The Order on the Anathema PvP server? The reason why it's on the PvP server is because it was formed long ago on the Nostalrius server, at the time when there was still only one server. The theme of the guild is Mercenary, meaning every questline is based on someone needing The Order to carry out some sort of quest/mission for them, and thus going on a little adventure. I myself currently have a little project in the works to expand the guild further, and as soon as I have an OK from our Order Marshal (DM) it will be applied asap. This sounds like a really nice idea. But since it is very fresh, I was thinking if I may inform you that a similar guild already exist. I would like to introduce you to The Order, a guild who's main purpose also is of mercenary hiring. It's on Anathema PvP and consists of a gang of routined RPers and was formed 1.5+ years ago, and I am currently working on a little project to expand the guild further. It is only in the early state progress, but should our Order Marshal (GM) approve of my idea, it will be carried out swiftly but well so. And perhaps, if you and the followers you have gathered so far don't wish to leave your own guild, maybe we could make some sort of collaboration between the two? Would you mind explaining these "branches" a bit further? What does each one do? :) Also... What do you mean with "Umbrella guild"?

But it would seem that the Mithril Compass is on the Darrowshire server (Former Nost PvE) and The Order is on Anathema (Former Nost PvP) Hope you will reach contact with any of them, and hope you are still RPing. Hey all. I'm getting stoked for the reopening of Nostalrius, and can't wait to see my old characters again. I've never done much RP back on retail, but started in a more dedicated way just a year ago on Nostalrius PvP when I got invited to The Order, and got hooked instantly Iam now looking for a guild when the server comes back up, unfortunately I started RPing before the release of the PvE server, so my main character, Tiade (Night elf Druid), is stuck on the PvP server, and I have understood that PvP servers are not a favorite place for RPers. Unless it would miraculously come up a migration option which I highly doubt. Anyway, an idea I got just the other day, thinking now that I realized Nostalrius had many more RP-guilds that I was aware of (and someone already mentioned the poor lack of communication between guilds), as the Night Elf nerd I am, it would be cool to be part of/make a Night Elf guild, like sentinels or something that guards the elven lands and go on missions and whatnot? I do hate the idea of excluding people from a guild, especially an RP guild for some reason, but if it was possible to widen the forum for guilds to socialize and keep contact, then different guilds would be able to parttake in eachothers events, and therefore, a full-on Night Elf guild wouldn't be impossible. Although I'm fearing not many people are as huge elven nerds as myself, and maybe there would be too little interest to make it happen, but as stated earlier, name's Tiade and I'll be hanging around on the PvP server.
