For everyone that is new to vanilla and is really excited for the fresh pvp server i want to warn you about a few things:
Vanilla isn't something you want to rush through that's not how the game was meant to be played if you want to be the first to kill rag or the first to kill nef i'm sorry but that is very unlikely with someone with little experience with vanilla.
Secondly: i don't understand this fear of "being too far behind" or "not being able to be competitive" I understand where you are coming from but come on anyone who truly wanted to be caught up to geared 60's they could do it in a month its not impossible. So if your new just chill there always be someone ahead of you and behind you in vanilla that's just how online games work so do everyone a favor and enjoy the game for what it is and don't worry about where everyone else is at in the game.
Lastly: enjoy vanilla! its a great game
