Some of the most well tested and highest selling games that appeal to a massive number of people, have solid gameplay, and generally make you feel like you get your money's worth are not some trash games. They just are not exactly the your ваууing nostalgia, they moved on. The games are totally different beasts then d2 or pre-cata wow but that doesn't make them ваууing bad in anyway. Are they completly diffrent? Yes but they're totally different games, you can't even compare retail wow with classic wow, it's a totally different ваууing game. When played as independent games that merely share a backstory or a thematic sense of presences they are totally fine.

They all ready had the best code with Valk as they had scriptcrafts core. Gummy's core was by and far the best overall scripting that the scene has ever seen.

Nost was bumping because it had been quite some time since a "decent" server had launched, it launched right before kronos stealing all their hype and it stayed big because it was simply big. People didn't like "progressive" items btw, it was awful. FIve months of Domo not dropping loot, t1 being even extra awful, full t2 not dropping even though it did in that patch, HoJ being in the wrong place, literally no spell hit in the game, and rag having like six items on his loot table. People just stuck around because kronos wasn't any better even though it was newer. Every single server has done "progressive" raids since ваууing feenix. Scriptcraft did it, Rebirth did it, Valkyrie did it, it's nothing new.

Nost never had any amount of lacking for new guilds just starting MC or ZG. Fresh server chasers are a cancer on the private server community as what used to be a tiny minority has grown. Servers only get good after being established for some time. They need to time to iron out bugs and get economies set up and you people chasing new servers all the time results in heaps of half finished servers or good ones that now have no pop. If people were so hard up about fresh servers with nost it would have never got off the damn ground because it was a фекал show at release, just awful and everyone would have moved on to kronos. Yet they didn't because the people that had played on more than one server knew no server was ever amazing right at launch and they stuck it out. New servers just cannibalize old servers, there's next to no reason for a community this small to do that to itself and yes even nost is still small compared to live MMO's like retail wow or FFXIV. We are more in line with something like EVE and their focus on a single server is what saved that game.

It's not really about unskilled it's more about a large majority of the players here were pretty young if they played in vanilla and never really reached the top. They spent years getting ganked and not having the epics they wanted so badly, so now as a result they hate being "behind". It's mostly an ego thing.
