	  People just wasting queue places on the realmashvien replied to ktak's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions Don't be daft, sometimes people need to AFK (10 minute toilet break or perhaps looking something up on WoW DB). It's nothing personal, they're not griefing or being unhelpful, they're just doing stuff. They may be talking in whispers or to their guild about the next raid. There are a handful of players in your screenshots, if you kicked all of these it would be a bit unfriendly (not good for the longevity of the server) + it's not actually going to help the situation as a few dozen players isn't going to change queues times all that much when there are 3000+ people in the queue. You'll perhaps reduce the wait by 100 players or so - all of about 30 seconds to someone logging in. It's annoying being stuck in the queue, but we all have to go through it, I work 9-5 so by the time I get to login, I'm going to be waiting most evenings.

	It's a known problem with the Elysium return DNS setup. There was a post around here somewhere where a user identified the DNS fault and a suggested change, I should imagine the Ely infrastructure / Server Manager people will get it fixed. Until then, you can just create a fresh Gmail to register with.

	  Elysium account e-mail - Used different e-mail to nostashvien replied to ezspeng's topic in Help & Support I tried to register with my old Nost email (it's my ISP email which I use for everything), but Elysium wouldn't send it a verification email (even after 30+ attempts over several days). In the end I was forced to create a new Gmail in order to receive the verification and transfer my chars. I can't imagine they will flag anyone given that their own website is preventing some people from registering with their Nost email.

	Hello all, Just wanted to get a topic on the boards so people get sight of the fix that one of the members has found in a different thread (not trying to claim credit here, just want people to see how to get around the Elysium bug with the verification process): https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=24676 4th post down! Worked great for me (I'd requested 30+ verifications since Monday without receiving a single one). Unfortunately I'd already attached my Nost chars to a new Gmail which is annoying, but hopefully this can help others!

	Great job, looks like you've found the bug! Your solution works perfectly. I've got a hunch... Did you all create Elysium accounts using the same username you had used previously on Nost, but with a different password? That was my particular circumstance (I don't like having the same password on multiple accounts, but I do re-use usernames). May have something to do with the system not triggering a mail send for the verification?

	Interesting, 36 hours without a verification email. I also had my username set to the same as my old Nost username (and was trying to verify with the same email I used on Nost too). I wonder if the system doesn't send a verification if you use identical user/pass/email as you had in place on Nost? As soon as I changed to a new email and username, verification worked in seconds and I could transfer my chars (but now I'm stuck with my Nost chars linked to a throwaway Gmail account... booo).

	36 hours and counting and none of the 20 ish verification emails I requested have turned up (BT Internet email - my ISP). I created a Gmail and verified and transferred my chars last night so I'm all set, other than the fact I've got my chars on a throwaway email where I'd have preferred them to be on my old Nost email account.

Are you by any chance from the UK? 2 of the biggest ISPs in the UK (BT and Virgin) are both not receiving the verification emails + Yahoo is having problems. I ended up having to create a new Gmail. EDIT: Ignore that, I see you're using Gmail. How odd

I hope you get your accounts sorted. 	Please ignore what the others posted above, although you can use a different email (as I explained above I had to do this myself), those of us who were forced to go down this path now face investigation, please read the following tweet guys: https://twitter.com/...417016042455040 I urge people to stick it out and wait for Elysium to fix the verification email process.

	I had this problem on my BT Internet email address (BT is my ISP - biggest UK net provider so this could be a big problem for UK players). I used this BT email address for the stress tests and it was my old Nostalrius email too without issue. I created a Gmail after trying to re-send the verification multiple times without luck and it worked instantly! Unfortunately though, I then saw this on Twitter asking to use our original Nost emails (I would if the website let me!!): https://twitter.com/IrishBites/status/808417016042455040

	Hello all, Much like a lot of people my verification email never arrived (tried re-sending multiple times last night from the Control Panel). Checked the spam box and all that. My email is with my ISP ("BT Internet" - biggest UK internet provided). I use the Mozilla Thunderbird client. I saw people saying Gmail worked fine so I went ahead and created an email with them and used it to register and transfer my Nost characters. I thought that was problem solved until I saw this: https://twitter.com/IrishBites/status/808417016042455040 I'm really worried. I tried to use my original Nost email, that was always my plan, but the verification problem prevented me getting any further with it. How frustrating. 1. Elysium tell us to use our original Nost emails else we might get flagged for account trading. 2. But unfortunately we can't use our original emails due to the verification email problems Elysium is having! What is doubly annoying, I read earlier that the verification email process now doesn't apply! Is there any way I can undo my original char transfer and switch back to using my original Nost email (now that the verification email process is being switched off)? Just don't want to end up being unfairly flagged for investigation! Thanks
