Seems like a lot of people

usually its because they are farming gold which slows down their leveling. sure they get their mount on 40, but if they haven't farmed they would be like lvl 45 instead and could buy their mount with gold from quests / standard playing. ppl just do stupid things like that for example camping the centaur mob in barrens when there are 4 groups waiting for respawn already instead of just skipping the quest... -
Current situation on Elysium fresh realm
ropman replied to Zauhet's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I guess great reality checks for those who wanted fresh so much because they though they wont be ganked or be amongst first players to clear mc or level 60 :) beautifull tears of the naive fools. back to the topic: thats why u roll horde on any PvP server, otherwise u just get destroyed a lot. horde has better access to zones like STV and serious PVP-ers mostly roll horde cause of the racials. every 12 yrs old wants to pewpew lowbies with their UD rogue. thats nothing new and nothing surprising at all. -
Just tested it and can confirm that passwords are not case sensitive. Is this intended?

I just dont think the game was designed for 11k concurrent players on a single realm and I don't enjoy playing on such high pop myself.

The current active population of ZK is already an overpopulation. The only reason some ppl might see it differently is because they are used to 10k+ nonsense which is definitelly not blizzlike. There are plenty of people in low level zones on ZK. Also please keep in mind that players on ZK are leveling much faster because they dont need to wait as much for respawns, so they dont stick in low lvl zones for so long.

I am not able to see some quests even though im high enough lvl (48). Specifically Southsea Shakedown in tanaris and fuel for the zapping in feralas. Does anyone have the same issue? Is it a bug or intended?

Calling it now in 1 month: Nost PvE pop: 2k, Nost PvP: 5k, Elysium: 20k

actually I think some people will come back to PVE or roll on PVE after they will be constantly ganked on fresh realm. and after they realize that bunch of ppl who play almost 24/7 will be 60 in a week anyway while they struggle with mob tagging in starting zones as lvls 10-20. a lot of people will be disapointed by a fresh realm experience... especially the ones who haven't exprienced nost 1.0 launch. -
Which server should I choose?
ropman replied to Redthirst's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I plan to roll on PVE simply because I don't enjoy getting ganked nor do I enjoy ganking people. 99% of the famous vanilla world pvp is just ganking lower lvls or attacking when you are in an advantageous situation. Especially with the nost population, it will be absolutely unplayable. When it comes to fresh/new server choice, I don't care about this that much. I like playing on established server so I can actually quest and not camping mob spawns etc. Plus the better economy means it is easier to make gold for mounts or any other gold sink. Some people might be afraid that they wont be able to join groups or raids when they are behind but with such population I don't think this will ever be a problem. Since I am not a hardcore player I would be behind even on a fresh realm. I would be waiting for mobs to respawn in overcrowded zones while the hardcore players would get to every zone among the first and be leveling much faster. -
Any way to donate to server cost without paying 310 EU chunks?
ropman replied to Docholy's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
You have to be kidding right? Have you any idea how difficult and time consuming it is to maintain and develop a project this scale? What do you expect from the devs and staff? They need the money for living like anybody else. Do you expect them to go full time job and after that to work on the servers in the night completely exhausted? Nobody will do this long term. The project needs money. The more money from donations, the higher quality of the server. Simple as that. Not enough money = project is going down sooner or later.
