I've used this guide now many times on the PvE realm with MC gear. Some additional remarks:
When passing the dinos, watch out for lvl 48 ones. It's easy to попа pull one of those, if you're not careful. Yes, even if you stick to the wall as much as possible. When you pass a close by lvl 48 dino, make sure it looks in the opposite direction of yourself.
As a DS/ruin specced warlock it can help at Princess, if you lifetap, run far away from her and bandage yourself mid fight. Also make sure you only shadowbolt her at max range and only 2 bolts at once. If you don't shadowbolt her at max range she can stun you, even when she is currently 'farting'. At max range she will either stun your pet or nobody at all.
Rotgrip is the hardest fight if you're undergeared. It usually goes smooth if you have 1-2 shadowbolt crits. Also sometimes you get lucky with pet resisting the bleeding debuff, resulting in an extra cycle (3rd) of corruption.
With my spec I go like this for Rotgrip: Send in VW, let him get first hit before dotting (important). Dot with CoA, corruption and immolate. After corruption and immolate fall off, reapply them again. Replace CoA with CoS. After corruption and immolate run out again for the 2nd time, watch the health bar of your VW closely. If it's close to dieing, sac it. If you're lucky with pet resists, you could even apply corruption and immolate a 3rd time. Usually I sac VW between 300-500 hp left. Any less and you're pushing it. Now spam shadowbolts until your shield runs out. If it runs out, use death coil. I usually life tap before death coil if I'm low mana and full health. Reapply dots. Spam shadowbolts and pray it's enough.
