Well You SHOULD have a file named "DivxDecoder.dll" in your wow installation. It seems weird that that file is being deleted , make sure there isn't an anti-virus tripping with it . Just recopy that single file ( DivXDecoder.dll ) back to wow folder, but if this keeps happening , try to find out what is deleting that file over and over.

You just need to create a new account here : https://elysium-project.org/play Get the 1.12.1 version and edit the realmlist.wtf file to log to elysium. Right now it seems there is a problem with @outlook.* and @hotmail.* emails , gmail seems to work fine. You can have both games in the same computer ( just remember to install both in different folders ) , I have retail and elysium installed here. AFAIK the forum and game accounts aren't connected, you need to create a game account in the website I stated above.

I think they are aware of the issue and currently planning to (or) "fixing" it . So all we can do is wait...... or play 3m at a time , relog FTW, #neverstopthegrind

Guessing here : Can you try to enable "Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings" on the compatibility tab ? ( right click wow.exe -> properties ) ( That or do this , text scaling not being 100% makes wow go nuts sometimes ) Try to mess with Hardware cursor ( ingame -> Video settings -> "Hardware Cursor" ). ( enable if disabled or disable if enabled ) Edit config.wtf and add/modify the following line : SET gxCursor "0" Check this post in battle.net I hope you find a fix.

AFAIK ( plz correct me if I'm wrong ) 1.12 doesn't have Dx11 support. GxAPI variable only accepts DirectX9 and OpenGL in the 1.12 client ( OpenGL for mac ) Setting to anything else will probably just default to Dx9 Maybe I'm wrong , I'll test to see if it does use Dx11 next time I play. You can try to set the game to run "borderless windowed" SET gxWindow "1" SET gxMaximize "1" Or ingame , go to video settings , set "windowed" and "maximised" on. That should use your desktop "default resolution" and just use windowed without borders ( fake fullscreen / Borderless fullscreen ) Edit: If case your using OsX check this thread in battle.net forums , though it would be weird since it states the bug was introduced in 5.3 (ignore if your on windows)

If you wish to change your resolution manually try this : Go to the "WTF" folder and edit the file "config.wtf" with notepad Find the gxResolution line , for example mine is : SET gxResolution "1920x1080" If I wanted to switch to 1600x900 I need to simply edit this to : SET gxResolution "1600x900" Just save the file and relaunch wow With luck this will allow you to force the resolutions you want

Wow I didn't know they spouted such BS Kidna weird , I choose not to be dumb and believe it I guess I do understand that op is kinda asking for too much , but pointing to the "6" DDoS and "compilations of copying a DB " ... that's ... too much. anyway , back ontopic .. I do think the servers are more than decent, if ppl find these bugs and report , I'm sure after this launch madness they will start cleaning them up.

6 ? you counted them ? wow ... hmm and here I was thinking it was just a matter of copying an *.mdf file and Attaching it back to the SQL server ... Can you inform us how did you get this information ? Also what is this "complication" of copying a database ? I can see some issues adapting it or converting it , but to copy a database ... oh well .. lets hope they don't get 8 DDoS , please warn us if they do. Bug Tracker is working , so any bugs should go there and I'm sure as soon as we'r off the "launch time" things will start getting fixed.

The Nostalrius PvP server is having issues , this has nothing to do with client side stuff . With the SPAM in the discord , I'm sure the GMs are aware and fixing it

If you press cancel after you get the "connected" do you go to the server selection screen ? Cause I can log in the PvE server , but the PvP ( were I'm playing ) right now does that to me. Seems it's an issue with the Nostalrius PvP server right now :/

I think no one. Since 3-4 years every time something goes down , DDoS is the "excuse". The server is lagging , can't handle so much people. "My card doesn't run today ... must be DDoS ! " At least now ppl aren't showing those "honeypot" maps and showing it as "proof" of DDoS I mean I see ppl stating "legion kids are DDoSing us" "other private servers" ... are they really paying up for a botnet to be constantly Flooding ? Then it's a really bad one cause the server doesn't go down , and all of it's network remains unaffected. Doesn't seem like a DDoS

Ok lets ( try ) to make this simpler 1st you need to extract everything from that zip file. I'll assume you have winrar , open the file in winrar and press "ALT+E" On the destination path , put were you want to extract the game to ( ex : C:\Games\wow ) and press ok This is were the game will ACTUALLY be , wait for it to extract. Now choose one of these options : Option A ( manually edit the realmlist.wtf ) : Now you need to open realmlist.wtf with notepad ( in the example it would be located @ c:\Games\wow\realmlist.wtf ) delete the line there , add this one : SET realmlist logon.elysium-project.org and save it. Option B ( download realmlist.wtf and place it in the wow folder ) : Download this file : http://www.mediafire.com/file/xl6gu43q4t1mzz0/Elysium+Realmlist.rar Open it with winrar , and either drag and drop in the wow folder ( in the example it's c:\games\wow\ ) OR do "alt+e" and put your wow folder in the destination. This should overwrite the "old" one. After this , running wow.exe should launch the game and connect to elysium I hope this helps , good luck.

I personally haven't even logged in to the game yet ( waiting out untill it's more "stable" and less ppl ) , but I can join queue just fine , so everyone that is getting dced (instead of getting into the queue ) probably is due to what torm3nt pointed out.

If that is the case wow.exe will only read realmlist.wtf .... making "realmlist" useless. Are you sure your just not having the file extensions showing ? This fix doesn't make sense, at least for me , must be missing something.

Working fine for me now
