I guess I am, but reading about people getting banned left and right doesn't really put the mind at ease

Yeah that is what I'm getting at - where does Elysium draw the line? What is actually allowed when it comes to hostile player interaction and not? If ganking is considered griefing and a violation, we'll be looking at a neutered PVP server; but that really cannot be true, can it? The TOS (https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=21966) seem to not mention that it would be against the rules But I assume since the TOS doesn't explicity mention that you are not allowed to toss people off cliffs and boats, you should be allowed to do that barring of course that there is no bull going on when it comes to the anti-cheat detector banning people for reasons unknown because of it Interesting, that is good to know, thanks

I wouldn't be so sure nothing is going to happen considering recent issues with the server, but perhaps it will all be resolved in the future Sounds a bit reassuring The screenshot (http://imgur.com/a/FtNya) seems to state otherwise, that it is allowed to use Mind Control and make people leave - I do however feel like perhaps it shouldn't Nothing is said about the boats however, I do remember way back in retail that it was always a danger of travelling with boats that someone was hiding somewhere or just waved at you with ill intentions - it would feel bad if this now wasn't allowed, where would the line be drawn to what is allowed and not if 'fun' is a factor? On a PVP server things such as that should be a known given that it may happen

I found this: http://imgur.com/a/FtNya Some servers don't look kindly upon Mind Control, either due to it not working properly and lead to disconnects and bans, or because it is not deemed very fun for the victim - what is the stance for Elysium? I'd assume you wouldn't be allowed to use Mind Control to make people drown in lava if you can't make them jump off boats, it sure would take away an aspect from the Priest class when it comes to PVP

Heyo, Not sure where to post this question, so I thought I'd drop it in the Priest section; is it safe to use Mind Control on players? There are a ton of threads on the old Nostalrius forum about people being banned for either having used Mind Control or have had Mind Control used against them - something about the anti-cheat detection? Some appeals get resolved while others don't, I'd like to know for sure if it is safe or if it is some 'use at your own risk' spell It would be a bummer to either get banned or have people get banned because I decided to do some base jumping, perhaps Pottu or someone else from the team could give an answer?
