Haha 425,000 Firebloom, AQ 2018 :)

After day 1, we're at 6600 / 425,000 (!!) Firebloom, at 15-20g/stack. That's an awful lot of gold for lvl 35 greens :) I think the dude that looked at the stocked-up materials in the database didn't account for firebloom being stocked up for wizard oil & firepower pots.

Given the loss of almost all of the senior development team, I'd expect at least a 6-month delay, and probably not going to be a smooth release.

If a new patch introduces game-breaking bugs, why not just roll it back to the previous stable version and do some extra PTR testing until the dev team is able to work out the bugs?

No idea what this guy is talking about. I solo que or 2-3-man que a little for fun on horde-side, mostly in AB and occasional WSG, and I'd say less than a quarter of the time I face premades, and most of those are pretty beatable especially in AB. Hell, had a recent game against an almost all-r12+ group and they couldn't even 4-cap it. US horde que times got very fast since relaunch too: it used to be that we had to wait anywhere from 20-40 minutes, now it's usually something like 2-4 minutes. With the exception of the first few weeks of the server, this is the best it's ever been for non-ranking players to have fun in BGs.

Mostly just need a couple locks. Have pre-raid BIS or close to it, or I guess just get a GM-created account with BIS everything. Might also have room for an exceptional shaman or priest.

Paladins are overpowered as all hell at low gear levels, but once spellpower inflation (& spell penetration) starts to take hold in AQ40 & especially in Naxx, well-coordinated caster heavy teams can just pre-purge and switch targets at the drop of a hat and global down anything within 20-30 yards before a heal even lands. As good as some of the later melee weapons & +heal scaling is, it really pales in comparison to how fast casters will be able to drop people, even those with 5k+ health, and I think hybrid shamans & disc priests shine more in that environment than a holy pally.

You've created a system with a >99% false positive rate, which does nothing to actually deter gold sellers. You might want to rethink that.

Thanks for the great addons, Shirsig! Is there a way to add in your own pet's cooldowns (i.e. your Felhunters spell lock) to the cooldowns mod? It looks like it tracks on enemy pets but not your own unless I'm doing something wrong.

Just use console /st and add part of the name of the channels ("MMOTANK") to the filtering keywords.

Whatever you do, don't play a druid to PvP unless you are wiling to rank grind for the speed set bonus. You could get by sub-optimally with the R8 4-piece blue gear, but you really want at least R12, and preferably R13 for the best 3 piece combo. It is by far the most important & unique set bonus from the PvP gear and not just for flagrunning - it completely transforms the way the class is played. Once you get used to moving in bear form at 124% speed, or travel at 160%, the class feels almost unplayable without it.

You are remembering the mechanics wrong (happens to a lot of people in vanilla wow community!); reflectors in vanilla did not work on spells which were already mid-air.
