Just admit that the core was never nostalrius.
Wortgewandt replied to Swineflu's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Yes it was. Especially the Duskwood guard giving you the Quest for the Orphan. It was around the same time when Stalvan was buggy. Somwhat around September. If you didnt see that bug, you havent played on nost. Remember the last couple of weeks on nost? I do. I remember Mobs in Silithus chasing me from the South Abyssal Camp, all the way to cenarius Hold. -

That is exactly the same on the old nost. The exact same things where on nost too. -
Oh, didnt notice that. My bad. But trying to go dps feral prior to DM, is insane :D

Your Pre Raid Bis is wrong. With this set, you've got 5% hit. You need 8-9%. Abyssal Leather Shoulders of Striking (13 stam/13 agi/ 13 str) are way better than truestrike. Can be easily obtained with a farm raid. Primal Batskin Jerkin is what you'll want as a chest. And Primal Batskin Wristguards is what you'll want for Wrists. As for Rings, instead of the Mara Ring/Myrmidons you'll want the DM North Tribute Ring twice. Especially on alliance side, as all items have high agi. With Kings giving you the needed crit to make feral work. With this set, you've got 8% hit and you're good to go MC/ZG. 2% critstone is the only one that is supposed to work in feral form, as it enchants the weapon to have "Increases your chance to critically strike by 2%". Taladril is right. 20 Agi = 1%crit. On ally side, 18 Agi = 1%crit with Kings. You also didnt talk about stat priority and capping out, so let me add that for ye. Hit > Str/Agi > Crit If you have less than 33% crit Raidbuffed. Agi > Str If you have 33% crit or more Str > Agi.

Read the forum, nobody can.

I'm compensating serverlag through this macro: /script u=UnitMana('Player'); c=CastSpellByName; f=UnitPowerType("Player"); if (u<=30) and (f==3) then c"Cat Form"; elseif (f==0) then c"Cat Form"; end; It blocks shapeshifting if my energy is higher/equal to 30. This is just one of several ofcourse

Just got an answer on this from GM Ajinn, Using +8 DMG Weightstones/ + 9 DMG Enchant is considered exploiting and will be sanctioned.

Google petopia webarchive. Not all pets come with sjills

Rather than going tank go dps and grab 5/5 thick hide. Grab guardian staff and that's basically it. If your raid only needs a 3rd ot on 2/3 bosses out of 12, it's a dead slot otherwise.

Ferocious Bite very bugged (very low damage, no scaling)
Wortgewandt replied to Rafale's topic in Druid
I've tested it with a guildy earlier on R4. 0 Armor. Noncrits where anywhere between 1.1k to 1.3k avrg. This is correct Damage. -
Ferocious Bite very bugged (very low damage, no scaling)
Wortgewandt replied to Rafale's topic in Druid
It's not. From my post on the nostforums: Calculating Ferociuos Bite is as follows: Rank 4: 5 Combo Points Min Damage = ( AP * 0,1526 + [energy - 35] * 2.5 + 685 ) * talents 5 Combo Points Max Damage = ( AP * 0,1526 + [energy - 35] * 2.5 + 735 ) * talents 5 Combo Points Max Damage with optimal Talents: Damage = (( AP * 0,1526 + [energy - 35] * 2.5 + 735 ) * 1.15 [5/5 Feral Aggression] )* 1.1 [5/5Natural Talents] Assuming we have 1000 AP Damage = (( 1000 * 0,1526 + ( [100- 35] * 2.5 ) + 735 ) * 1.15 )* 1.1 = 1328.x Maximum Damage output on a target with 0 Armor for a Value of 1000 AP on max Energy and Combo Points is 1328.3765. 1328.3765 reduced by armor usually ends up in raids onto a value between 500-700 ish noncrit depending on the debuffs. This is consistent with my values here on Ely nost You need atleast 1000 AP to see change in dmg as the coefficient of 0.1526 decimates the AP value by a lot. -
Find a guild that lets you go feral. Forget pugging, you will not be taken unless you heal. You cant really heal any good if you go in feral specc. DPS wise, you will need dedication, macros, good timing and Lots n lots of consumables to stay on par with rogues n warrys.

It will not be BiS anymore once your whitehits average dps is near equal to a shred noncrit. After shredding, it will take up to 6 seconds to regen enough energy for another shred. With shifting, it will take 4 secons. With powershift (shift + helmet) it will take only take aslong as you need to powershift for another shred. Rotation without helmet: Shred, tick, tick, shred, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, shred Rotation with helmet: Shred, tick, tick, shred, shift, tick, shred, shift, tick, shred, shift, tick, shred. Shift + Tick will take roughly 1.5 seconds if done correctly and without too much serverlag. Helmet becomes obsolete, once your aa's do enough or more dps in the time of ticks waiting for shred then an actual shred. However, this does not happen until TBC.

30, because with imrpoved shred, you gain another shred with the next tick, with 20, you'll need 2 ticks. Arguably i believe it is more efficient to shred than to use a claw and push youself to 0 in this as it would complicate an already silly rotation PS: I'm so glad to get my feral back!
-
Additionally to that, create a macro for the catshift that will prohibit you to shift out of cat if you are above 30 energy.

To answer your questions: Wolfshead or go home if you want to feral pve. Key is spamming shred as perfectly timed as possible. Shift + tick + helmet. Mana: No you wont. If you time accuratly, for BWL and above, you will need either a greater mana pot, or a flask of wisdom. You run out of mana after around 4 minutes of shapeshifting. Yes, yes it is BiS forever in PVE (DPS that is).
