  1. Alright, good to know. Thanks Neolite!
  2. I see. I mean, I haven't used torrents before so... I probably did make some mistakes along the way.
  3. Also, new and probably final question... when I clicked to launch WoW it said "Hardware changes detected. Restore to default?" or something along those lines. I clicked "No" but what does that mean?
  4. Ok, I'm downloading the listed client now
  5. So, I already have a full copy of WoW on my computer and I'm an active subscriber... so I don't really see why I'd have to download another copy/a torrent of it. Plus, 3/4 of the links I found on the page were not functioning for me and the last one wanted me to download a program before I could use it that I found very poor reviews for. So, currently I'm copying another.. copy of my current WoW in a different folder and going to set the realmlist there to the one used for this game. Would that work? If not, is there anything else I can do that isn't as dangerous?

    Noob Questions About Launch

Thanks for the answers guys! I'm excited to create a new character tomorrow... I only started playing WoW very shortly before BC was released so I only got to experience very little of vanilla wow but I have very fond memories of it.. should be a blast! No idea what I'm going to play though.. on current WoW servers I got a 106 Warlock and 100 Druid. So many things about Vanilla WoW I remember... like I remember having to do quests to get the totems that were very long and difficult but it made getting your totems feel so satisfying and like a huge reward and power up. The loss of those kinds of things that actually felt like achievements and is now so streamlined is what I miss about vanilla... already said it once but can't wait for tomorrow!
  7. Is there any difference between PvE servers and PvP servers other than that one has combat on in certain zones? What do these "Fresh start" servers mean? I hear that the fresh servers ... or maybe it was the old ones, aren't getting launched until several weeks after some other servers? I remembered there being something about reviving old players accounts so does this mean only the old players will be able to play for the first several weeks? Just wondering because that'd be pretty disappointing for me because by the time I'd have access to them I'd have school again.
