the ToS states that we are not allowed to "Advertise or operate services in-game and/or on the forum which in the sole discretion of Elysium staff is considered a casino and/or gambling." I have asked on the forums and Didnt get a proper response to this, I looked up other posts and from what I can gather the primary thing we shouldnt do is advertise on any sort of general/world chat. It should be okay to gamble with friends/guildmates but if they report you then there is a possibility that you may have your account suspended/banned. There is also a chance that the ToS may be strictly talking about real money gambling only in which case we are fine. This addon was orginally called Gentlemans cross Gambling but I managed to backport it after many hours of work and have renamed it Kyruel Gambling. https://classicaddons.com/index.php?/file/98-kyruel-gambling/ I played this game with a number of different guilds in retail and it was always an enjoyable experience. Use this addon at your own risk. Would appreciate if an admin post their stance on this. If asked I would be happy to take down this post and delete the addon on the classicaddons website.

ive tried activating it several times, spent about 30 min on it but it refuses to accept my code. Game lied when it said it was easy.

The addon just keeps track of who owes who gold. I used to really enjoy playing this in raid and wanted to bring it back but it sounds like its against ToS. Its just something I want to do with guildmates I play with not random players.

does anyone know where to find a working version of this addon vanilla?

feels like a gross overestimation. People give their friends 50-100g all the time, it would take a lot of manpower to see which ones are just people buying gold

i was just robbed as well. I was lvl 39 and just about to get my mount :( anyone know the chance of getting banned if I buy gold? I really wanted that mount

with the fresh server supposedly opening up in January can we get a seperate forum for it? Perhaps no one will talk there but it would be nice to find possible guildmates/leveling partners etc.

as others have pointed out, dividing the community could help lower the toxicity. I am primarily asking for a guild section for the fresh server, none of the current ones are useful to me. It would be the equivilant of you only being able to see guild forum sections from retail and not from vanilla. Are you ever going to use them? No.
