    My Account stolen,help me GM

Unique quest items such as onyxia key and pendant as well as carrot on a stick are all unique quest items that CAN be restored according to the TOU.
  2. Aye but then you effectively have 4FA ;) Which i would agree is twice as secure as 2FA. And by all accounts impenetrable.
  3. Or just his email basically. Step1 Have kronos (other compromised database) account with username: [email protected] Step2 Use same password for kronos account and your email account: asdf1234 Step3 Hacker can now locate your authentication email and QR code and attach HIS device to YOUR account. Step4 Providing you still use SAME accountname and password for Elysium... ...................................................in which case the, hands down - no contest - award winner for worst account security this century is found It is possible for them to hack your email (if they have that information from the kronos/other leaks/sale) to gain access to the QR/verification code. From there it's pretty easy to obtain your password habbit and other information that can help you with targeted guessing / bruteforce. Or like stated above, you are like 99% of the population that use the same password / wordpass for everything. Not that hard actually, but still your responsebility to prevent.

    [BackUp]Account Hacked

There are several GM's but i doubt they will respond to anything but a ticket. First it has to be categorized as a reimbursement ticket, then escalated to the "boss GM" as i understand it only one GM has the power to reimburse items. So get on with your re-gearing and the neck will come to you when they get to it. It might be worth noting that i waited about a week for reimbursement of Nat pagle extreme angler FC5000 which is infinitely more important than Drakesfire amulet :D

    [BackUp]Account Hacked

Yes you can get your drakesfire amulet reimbursed by making an ingame ticket to have it restored. You should include the information you provide here in your ingame ticket. You should also, as well as changing password, attach the 2FA to your account to prevent this happening in the future. Best wishes.
  6. Pretty sure all it takes is to hack your google account for google authenticator to transfer it to another machine, or to hack your google account and back up your apps along with DUO to another device, gain access to your email (if not also gmail) for scanning the QR code and bob's your uncle. But hey.. maybe i'm wrong ;) and maybe there IS such a thing as hacker proof.

    Authenticator Issue help ASAP

Now take a picture with your phone of the QR code, just a regular old picture. Store it on any cloud you may have, or even on your phone. That way you always have it :) Great things worked out for you.

    Authenticator Issue help ASAP

First let's explore why your haven't got the email with the QR code?
  10. Hi there I have been trying to attach 2FA to my banking account for almost 2 weeks now. Several times a day i log in to the control panel and attempt to get an email, so far unsuccessful. This goes for both changing password through "lost password" and both options of 2FA My main account is registered under same email domain, and i recieve mail on that with no issues, and almost instantly. Could someone please look into this? Kind regards /monmon
  11. Create an ingame ticket: Help request (Red?)-----> Issues that GM can assist with----> Stuck---->still not working page a GM

    New player registration, cannot login

Sounds like you have a corrupt or bad source file for wow. Try downloading another source and try over.

    New player registration, cannot login

Let me guess: You copy pasted the information into your realmlist.wtf? If so, and if you copied it from the "how to play on elysium" page, then remove the two ' ' in the string set realmlist 'logon.elysium-project.org' to set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org Also make sure that you only have one Realmlist.wtf Depending on where you got it from, some have more than one in the folder. Lastly make sure that the the servers are even online Here

    Change email! Hacked!

Most email providers have a "recover lost account" service, why don't you just gain control of your email again, use a strong password on it and happy days? In all honesty, it smells like you bought or otherwise aquired an account that isn't yours, and now you are trying to make it your own :D

    Missing Gold

    1. Change your password Here (use forgot password) 2. Activate 2 factor authentication, after changing password on the control panel site (follow the instructions for your device) 3. Adjust to the fact that Elysium does not restore gold or lost items, unless they are quest items and there is sufficient evidence to prove that you completed them with that reward. As stated by the TOU (terms of use) found here (pt.B.III) Also you might want to have a look at A.A of the TOU regarding responsebility for your account. Kind regards. Monmon

    Fell through the map?

Did you get the dwarf priests name? Because this is considered griefing and is bannable! Anywho.... Create an ingame ticket through the red ? ->issues GM can assist with--> Stuck--->Still not working page a GM. But it might be faster for you to see if you can get a friend/guildie/random friendly neighbourhood lock to summon you. GL

    Send golds

Ofc you are good, as long as your "friend" didn't buy that gold from the goldsellers, and this is some elaborate hoax to circumvent the rules of the TOU. I have traded and sent several 100 to my wife's account, and her back to me as well. If the gold is clean you have nothing to worry about!
  20. A whitehat hacker gained access to an account with administrative privileges to expose a weakness. The whitehat was subsequently recruited to the Elysium team and is helping out with security. There is even an official announcement regarding this incident. Thus: it is certainly not Elysium fault your account was hacked. (and since there is only one other option the fault is clear) It may be that we a reading between the lines, but your replies reek of "not my fault so I deserve reimbursement" Which is simply not the case. Elysium have clearly stated in their TOU that they will NOT restore lost, stolen or magically disappeared items, unless they are quest items and there is sufficient evidence that you obtained it. They will not even restore characters that have been deleted by hacks, nor by accident. This is something YOU should have familiarised yourself with before starting to play here. It is not Elysiums or any of our fault that you didn't. Nor is it Elysium or any of our fault that you did not use 2fa for your account to prevent this. Elysium is a community, not a company where you can make demands for costumer service as if it was a billion dollar company! It is also a community who rely heavily on the forums, news section and twitter for announcements and important information. It is not Elysium nor is it any of our fault, that you have failed at keeping up to date with account security issues, and more importantly, "how to account" in order to stay safe. You clearly seem to think that this is unfair, and we simply can't get through to you, without you thinking we are attacking you, that it's not unfair as same rule applies to everyone: Thus account security being OUR responsibility, regardless of the circumstances. And I add again: If you think that is unfair, the solution is straight forward: Don't play here.

  23. No. Elysium player database was never hacked, even if it was, it's encrypted. This is not the reason someone else have your password! Someone else have it either because: A. You shared it with someone B. You have a keylogger on your system C. You use the same password and/or it's asdf1234 thus being easy to brute force. D. You purchased lvling/rep/honor farming from a dodgy gold seller, and/or used your account login to register at their website. E. The list of stupid reasons that are all your own fault continues through Z-25 Regardless even if an admin from Elysium called the 1-800 BUYGOLDNAOW and told them your account information, are they obliged to restore anything on your account according to the TOU. Unfair? Their house, their rules. Don't like it? ......the Solution is obvious.

    Remote gaming

Well i am shit out of luck then... because i don't have chat on my screen when i fish, so i wouldn't even see a whisper from a GM. I hardly think that not responding to a whisper from a GM would get you banned, he would most likely just log you out and see if how/if you log in again. Teleport you or kill you to see how you respond. They don't just ban you unless they have tangible evidence of you violating the rules.
