So, this is a weird one. I tried to generate my Nostalrius token to transfer my account, but it said my email -- which I'm sure is the correct one -- wasn't found in the Nostalrius database. A couple days later, my friend informs me that my character is online on Elysium. So, someone else is playing it. At the very least, it should have said my token has been claimed, but it says my email doesn't even exist in Nostalrius' database. When I tried to use the account recovery form, it says "There is no transferred account with this email." But someone's definitely playing my character and seems to be having a good time. So, someone changed my account's email, but I'm pretty sure you couldn't change your account email on Nostalrius. So how'd the thief erase my original email? I'm probably not getting my account back, but I just wanted to understand why knowing my original email (and username) doesn't work, and why that email isn't even found as a Nostalrius email.
