Yes everything that they are mentioning that was nerfed was possible on retail. Most people just didn't know how or weren't good enough to actually perform them however.

You're arguing that buffing/nerfing classes is a QOL change? I want some of what you're smoking.

Well first, a QOL change is not buffing/nerfing certain classes. I'm not really sure why you said a QOL change would be changing ret pallys. Second, QOL changes are part of what ruined the game over time. Maybe you should clarify what you mean by QOL changes. The only QOL changes I can think of would be changes that are made client side (ex. FOV fix).

Lol i'm anything but upset. I'll just choose to play on the fresh PVP. That doesn't mean that it would be better to have a fresh PVE and PVP. Got everyone from Nost PVE in here complaining because they know a fresh PVE server would result in more people on that instead of Nost PVE Get over yourself. Your reasons for not having it are not reasons, but moreso baseless insults. It's like how liberals argue.

So it costs about 1200 EUROs (~$1250 USD) to run all of the servers every month from what I understand. Trying to get a poll to get an idea of how much people would be willing to donate a month to keep the servers up or if people even would be willing to donate.

Don't be childish. Limiting what people can talk about regarding topics because someone might get offended or it might be controversial is immature. Being 40 years old doesn't give you some grand wisdom about what should be censored in chat. If you don't like what someone says, simple use the /ignore feature. It's in the game for a reason. That being said, to say that General/Trade is only for in game info/content is funny. Did you actually play retail?

1. Why would you need more devs to open another server? 2. The people who play on the server would fund it with donations obviously. 40 people a month donating $10 would cover it. You do the math. It's nothing to fund it considering donations. 3. Staff it w/ gms? You realize it's the same # of total players right? It's not like we would really need more GM's. People can always apply to be GM's anyways. Go outside and get a breath of fresh air. You seem really upset for some reason over people wanting a fresh PVE server.

I don't think they will release a fresh PVE anytime soon, because it is hard to determine how many players will play on it.

It's not going to happen but I think it would be great if it did. A lot of the casual players will flock to PVE and there are plenty of competitive players that like PVE servers also. Everyone starting out obviously would prefer a fresh server, because it only makes sense to want to start out on an even slate with everybody else.

That's kind of a silly question. The same is involved in being competitive on a PVE server as is on a PVP server. It's not like people are only competitive on PVP servers because you are always flagged for world pvp. Most people would have a desire to obtain the best gear they can before others/beat raid bosses before others/etc. It's not like that's a PVP server exclusive thing. I'm not sure where people get this idea that everyone on PVE servers just sits around Thunderbluff and holds each other's hands but that was never my experience on retail.

I wasn't being serious when I suggested wiping the PVE server. I was just trying to get the point across that it is just as frustrating to people that want a server to start fresh on to have to choose to play on a server where people are so far ahead already vs starting on a new server. It is to the point where me and a few others starting with me are going to have to play on the PVP server which is not that big of a deal, but i'd prefer to play on a PVE server and be able to be competitive vs having to play on a PVP server.
