Greetings, We're pulling out. We haven't been on in the last few days for the most part once the drama started circulating as we wanted to see how it unfolded, and its not looking very good in general for the project to the point a lot of us don't feel its worth investing anymore time here. We wish other guilds the best of luck as they continue to play here, and we encourage anyone that reads this to set up 2FA, and change your passwords. A majority of us are currently testing a TBC server that is still in a closed testing phase until its released, and will likely make our home there once its out as its showing quite a bit of promise, and we're honestly hyped. Maybe we'll cross paths someday there. Regards, Xemni.

He's offered to refund it to the people who donated. They just need to dig up transaction ID's and hit him up. -

I don't follow Alex either, but I sure heard it from friends and other shit posters. I honestly feel its better to hear it how it is from Shenna, than from some random forum troll. At least when its coming from Shenna there is no speculation. -

For reiterating public knowledge? Lol. Alex himself already tweeted what he's doing, and already made the video voicing his opinion. Shenna simply reiterated what he did. The only addition made in Shennas post, was him declining to hear Elysium out. So I doubt it made it twice as bad, this shit storm was already raging before this post was made. -

Meanwhile his community is still shit smearing Legacy Network :^) The dude has influence, and he used it poorly. Now he's paying for it. Every action has a consequence. He's lucky it isn't worse. Shenna didn't condemn him, his actions did. I don't hate Alex, because Shenna made this post, I hate Alex, because he stirs up drama, everywhere he goes, and lo and behold, he's done it again. -

If he can't take a bit of flak, he shouldn't be giving it. Simple as that. Maybe when he's done listening to a few albums of Jimmy eat world, and emoing out, he'll realize that he can't get away with smearing other people unscathed and he'll stop being a cuck. -

mfw charging back money that was given to him under the guise it was GOING TO THE SERVER isn't considered scummy. :^) -

Pity for Alex? No. If he can't take a bit of shit on his face, would probably help if he didn't start flinging it like the monkey he is. -

The whole emulation community is guilty of "shady" practices. Pretending that developers are pure hearted saints is actually laughable. Lets not forget that Private Servers were developed for the soul purpose of avoiding paying for the retail version of this game, or simply play content blizzard hasn't put out. You didn't go to a vanilla private server, when vanilla retail was still a thing to "relive the golden days". You did it because you didn't want to pay for your sub. Hell the very first WoW server was up in 2003, so people could play the WoW Alpha before blizzard could even release their product. Lets not pretend that server emulation is the pinnacle of morality. You hire hackers to fix hacks, you hire botters to fix bots. Its not rocket science. Software developers have been doing this for ages. AT&T Even holds a hacking festival every year, where they invite hackers to show off there stuff, so they can develop a more secure network for them selves. You can literally Google how many hackers were caught doing what they were doing being picked up by companies to help secure their websites / software. I'm not saying by any means that this runs no risk to blow up in the devs faces, but you can either take a risk to prevent this kind of thing from even happening on this server, or you can not take the risk, and change nothing. I'd rather see what comes of this, and hope they develop security measures strong enough to prevent botting, hacking, and exploiting, rather than them do nothing, and have something pop down the road that destroys the economy. Life is a gamble. If you're unwilling to get up and take a risk, then you'll find you'll only go so far. I'd stop using Cucksensual as your morale compass, and start really thinking outside the box. If you're unhappy with the way they decided to tackle the issues at hand, maybe suggest a better method to achieve what it is they're trying to do, without enlisting the aid of these individuals? I see A LOT of complaining, but I don't exactly see anyone offering up a solution. -
Dunno how long this has been happening, and don't know why its happening, but other players cannot /w me. When they try and whisper me, nothing happens. The message doesn't appear in their chat box, and I don't receive anything from the people messaging me. Tested this with a few individuals, and guildies. The only thing that fixes it, is if I put someone on ignore, and then take them off. While that's a simple fix for a small problem, the bigger problem is i'm a guild master, and people can't /w me for an invite. I also can't just add everyone on the server to my ignore list and remove them. Tried clearing cache, and disabled all addons, and i still have the problem. Any ideas?
-
i've had a problem with replying to /w for the last few weeks. Turns out I had whisper restriction on, from early on when Bots were bombarding me with gold adverts, and forgot about it, so I couldn't get any /w from anyone. I apologize for that, wasn't ignoring you specifically.
-
Yep, that fixed it. Again, thank you!
-
holy fuck it was on, thank you. Ima run some tests to make sure that was it.
-
ima try it, I didn't even know this existed tbh
-
as if they wont just go to AB and do the same thing there.

Bump. Raid times are looking to be 8pm to 11pm Central. Raid days are still not decided as we're trying to pick days that work with everyone's schedule. Still need everything.
-
Bump. There were three other threads that was made with this one last night when the forums were lagging a bit, if possible, can a Mod delete them? Sorry for the accidental spam!

Greetings. I'm Xemni, I go by a few different handles, but here I go by Yeabro. We've decided to shift some more focus on this realm and start really aiming for some end game here. We're a North American based guild, that plans on raiding and PvP. We currently have officers and members that have experienced and progressed through all kinds of content. A little history first, and background I suppose. We originated on the Archangel 2.4.3 Realm, where we cleared all content that was available, before scattering about to play League of Legends, and other games. We recently made a return on the progressive WotLK private server hosted by Warmane, and cleared all available content that was available at the time, which was only Naxxramas, and Ulduar at 300% Increased health and damage pools. These raids were completed on 10 man, which on that server due to the scaling of stats, were the best challenge available, and we prevailed over the other guilds that decided they wanted to race us. As far as PvP, some of our officers are experienced PvP'rs who've achieved titles on retail in the past, and some members that have also been a part of guilds like Dara Mactire in the past. Since then, we've returned to retail to try out Legion and see what the expansion has to offer, but it wasn't the game we remembered playing. So we've come to Elysium looking to take a casual laid back approach to end game here, while doing a bit of PvP as well. Some of us were already here under a different guild testing the waters seeing if this was something we were wanting to commit to, but now that we've leveled here, we're merging the guild we were under, into our new guild, and we're now actively recruiting to build a 40 man core for end game. Raid times are still actively being discussed, but most of us are still leveling, so thats on a back burner until we get closer to 60. As of right now, we're currently in need of everything. Anyone who is willing to learn is welcome, if you need information regarding something about the game, we're more than happy to help. Hit up Yeabro, Shatterz, Igottwodicks, Thiccdaddy, Jered, Juandeag for information. We're not doing an application system, nor having a website, as we feel its pointless. Its a game, not a job. We like to speak with people who are interested in joining rather than check a resume. We're currently using Discord as our voice communication tool.

Age old discussion. PLAYING on a private server is NOT illegal. Your contract with Blizzard isn't legally binding. Terms of use that you accept when you create an account with them is to give them the right to ban you in game. Not sue you. The big reason why, is the method to which you "accept" their contract is not enough to be considered legally binding. HOSTING a private server however, is Illegal depending on what country you're in. Russia? Not illegal. United States? Illegal, and its not because its against Blizzards terms of use either, its because of the gray areas within the law behind the whole matter in specific countries. Regarding copyright laws, and a few other things as well. At least, this is how i've always understood it, I could be wrong, but I do not believe that i am. If you're a US player, you can read through this article to get an idea behind why the terms of use aren't legally binding due to a court ruling from a terms of use agreement with barnes and noble. http://www.spzlegal.com/privacy/terms-of-use-legally-binding/
