You only really benefit from the gun skill if its 305 (so the difference between bosses - which are level 63+ and have a defense of 315 - and you is at 10). This is the value for which the gun skill would provide 3 % hit. However, using Marksmans Bands or other mediocre items to get to that number isn't worth it, especially if you consider that the Rifle itself has an suboptimal attackspeed too - using it would delay your rotation (Aimed Shot cast would be longer than the times between two attacks - this is what hunters usually call "clipping"). So all in all, go with Blackcrow, it's the overall better choice.

If your pet is attacking or you deal any other damage (Serpent Sting, Trap) after the FD, you reenter combat instantly. Especially with fast pets like Brokentooth the resulting timewindow is very small. So, make sure your pet isn't attacking and you have no DoTs or mid-air projectiles that might damage your opponent after FD.

DPSMate shows missed shots etc. - this is the AddOn used to record to LegacyLogs. I think that's the kind of AddOn you are looking for.

New Here Just a Few Questions About Elysium!!
Poly replied to KBet's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Hi there and welcome. To see the current population you can always check out the realm status tab on the mainpage. There are four different servers to chose from - all of them offer a big enough community to socialise, raid and PvP with (Zeth'Kur is the smallest realm with 1-2k pop depending on time). Now to your second question. You won't ever find a privatserver that is 100 % blizzlike, it is just not possible to perfectly recreate this game with a group of volunteers. So no, it isn't - but it's quite close. However, there is no lfr or any other feature added by Blizzard in later expansions if that's what you meant. -
Here's a list for all petspells and where to get them: Petopia You can indeed teach this to a level 30 (or higher) cat, however, the lowest possible beast you can learn it from is the "Mountain Lion", which is a level 32 to 33 beast.

The normalization was introduced in patch 1.8.0 (hunter normalization in patch 1.10.0) - the core the Elsyiumservers run on however uses certain game mechanics from the 1.12.1 patch (e.g. talents) - this is also the case for normalization. And, as I already mentioned, you want the slowest weapon possible or you completely gut your rotation. You can't fit an Aimed Shot between two Autoattacks without timeloss when using fast weapons such as Hurricane (and really everything else but Crossbows). The only real exception for this rule is Rhok'delar, the reason for this being the ridiculous increase in damage (and stats - especially for trolls).
-
For raids, the rifle is a bit too fast, which results in messed up rotations because you would delay your autoshots with the aimed shot cast. And no, it wouldn't drastically increase your hit against bosses (lvl 63+) - you need 305 rating for the famous 3 % hit - or rather a difference of 10 between your opponents defense skill and your weapon skill.

Hey there. That questline was added in patch 1.7.0, so unless you play on Anathema, it's not implemented yet.

Most needed class/spec/prof in horde side
Poly replied to koseku's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Apart from tanks for 5-mans it seems like most of the raidingguilds are looking for healshamans. -
True. Haven't had problems with misses at all while raiding here, so I'd assume the 3 % equivalent works. Yet, it's pretty hard to proof either formula to be right or wrong.
-
It's actually equal to 3 % hit in that case (not 2 %).
-
If you are talking about raiding, then you will always want to take the slowest weapon possible. The reason is the casttime of aimed shot (3 s) - you deal the most damage by squeezing that cast between two autoattacks. Obviously, if you were to use a fast weapon, aimed shot would delay your autos. Concerning your question (I hope I understand you correctly): When choosing a ranged weapon you first look at attackspeed, then damage. Stats are a nice bonus, but especially in a raiding environment you won't find too many weapons to chose from anyways.

does troll racial(berserk) increase "aimed shot" charge(cast time)
Poly replied to cargalia's topic in Hunter
I just tested it on my hunter. For me, all of the three cases (Berserking, Rapid Fire, IAotH) result in a reduced casttime for Aimed Shot (even Berserking). -
You realise that there are stability issues currently which means a lot of players can't even log in right now? And I really don't see your line of argument concerning the second part. You take my argument, do some elementary school mathematics and put it like I proved your point. Turns out there is no way to discuss matters with you on a rational level - and as I really don't need to listen to your personal attacks, I'll just back out of it right here.
-
Which data do you base your comments on then? I'd like to see your sources for those ratios. Concerning your "200 level 60s" argument - being in one of the top guilds on the server I can assure you that you don't need 200 people to get there. As a matter of fact, 40 - 50 dedicated players are often enough.
-
Why would people queue? PvE population is way more progress oriented. We have the players who push for high standings (who will obviously not want to queue into 30 non-premade people) or people who only queue AV for the reputation. Reputation is best farmed by queueing during AV weekends. No offense, but Alterac Valley pops are not an indicator for potential population issues. Those numbers are plain wrong. Depending on the day and the time, Darrowshire still represents the population of a "high-pop" realm by vanilla retail standards. Your ratio is also off by quite a few percent. I can only suggest new players who wonder whether they want to roll on the realm or not to just log in, try a few levels and if still worried, talk to an experienced and/or established player - those people usually have a better overview on the server's situation than some freshly dinged 60.

According to gamepedia it's patch 1.10.0

Yes, can confirm that.

His respawn timer is 24h. If scripted correctly, he should spawn in roughly an hour from now. Just be patient (or prevent this whole situation by helping your faction boss out when he's in trouble).
-
He's gonna respawn in about 3-4 hours if scripted correctly.
