it confuses me when i see people claim that the 2fa is on their account but they got hacked still. Wouldnt that mean that the hacker would have to be in the house? Since it IP locks??

Yea the starter wand that chanters make will do, but you want to hunt down those fast blue wands to maximize dps ofc.

I can agree, as a 1h + shield shaman (using the stam/spr 1.5 speed dagger from RFK and the quest reward blue shield from RFK) I am able to easily take out 35-36 mobs while spamming shocks. I typically skip out on LS to avoid having to drink. I can go easily 5-6 mobs without even feeling a strain on my mana pool (unless i pull more then one at a time then it can get a little mana intense) Its insane but i get better dps this way then i ever did with a 3.2 speed 2h and wf. Also Id like to add that i think WF is on more of a 1/8-1/10 roll instead of 1/5 roll like the tooltip says. I know RNGesus hates me but i have seen many fights where WF never proc'd and it was 12-15 swings. Yes i take into consideration that missed swings can be the proc swings but i was missing 6% on swings in these fights.

Had someone in 1k needles threaten to report me after I completed my air totem quest and got the 1hr buff (40% movement speed +30% weapon Speed) because i was obviously speed hacking lol.

I would send void out, dot it and wand it. Sbolts will give you too much downtime and also cause you to pull threat off your VW

Its a bit off topic, but if you are having issues leveling with quests i would point you to look at the addon questie! - Its very usefull. It is not perfect though, a few quests i have noticed are slightly off on where the map tells you, but its rarely by enough to not figure it out.

nah I was never trying to glitch anyone. It was just tossing them off the boat just before the map change screen.

I asked a gm for clarification but never got a response. This was on a forum thread for someone who did get banned for doing it.

I am still confused on how MC'ing off the boats is a bannable offence. I used to do this daily for hours for the lulz. It is PvP and using game mechanics that were intended.....

That's great to know because I thought it was useless as well. Following this for sure to see if this was a bug and it gets fixed cause if not that is nice.

To my knowledge they do not ban accounts for name violations, they flag the character for rename. Probably hacked and was witnessed spamming gold advertisements, or bought gold and got caught.

To my knowledge (I could be wrong) this changes the MPQ files and can be caught by anti hack. Due to the type of file it modifies it will show as you have tampered with game files and can get you banned. Use with caution.

Thanks Youngfreddy - I don't play retail really (bought Legion but played for like 2-3 days and quit again) so I had no idea they fixed this in such a way. Further proof it was not how it was intended.
