As I read the first post, is you renamed the file to the line 'set realmlist logon.(..)'. You are not supposed to rename the file, but edit the content to have that line inside!

The first thing to notice is, is you renamed the realmlist.wtf file to the line you were suppose to add. So rename the 'set realmlist (..)' file back to realmlist.wtf and add that line as the only content of that file.
