If anyone here is still having this issue, consider what realm the game is connecting you to. I was having this issue only to figure out I was trying to connect to a test realm. Clearing my WTF let the game suggest a realm again. Clicking "english" and "PvE" got me to Darrowshire perfectly.

I'm getting this too. I enter my password and it has the whole "Connecting...Success! Connected" and then it hangs for half a second and then it pops up, "Disconnected from server" as if the server were down.

Don't forget that there's no way in HELL that Blizzard's releasing official legacy servers. But really, the whole "Nostalrius community is no longer about private servers, it is about official legacy realms" was the most painful part of that, I think. I honestly think Blizzard's made it CLEAR they have little to no intention of providing anything of the sort. What the вау is that supposed to mean?

Holy Crap, Rebirth really is going down? I mean, I played there for a little while, they're supposed to have a pretty good core, right? And jeez, they almost had Naxx done. I'm not sure any private server's ever made it that far. But, did Blizzard really have anything to do with this? I don't know at all.

Exactly what I'm wondering, I just made a pally yesterday on Nostalrius PvE and I'm wondering if I should just abandon him now and try to move to Elysium? Nevermind. Already clarified.

Uh, okay. I just want to say that you've done a great job with getting everything set up, and that it's horrible that they would turn around and burn this all to the ground without any good reason to give. One thing in particular that I would like to know: I think a lot of the people who plan on sticking with these servers are concerned about what this means for Elysium, at least in terms of the core you're using. You say you've been upgrading it alongside the one that belonged to Nostalrius? If we're going to be running a very similar core, if not better, just know that I'll be there. The amounts of people you've managed to rally are incredible, and I'd hate to see everything fall apart. So many people participated in this, it's mind-blowing. I couldn't even get on to the main Elysium server. Another thing: Because of the whole, erhm, issue with tokens and character/data transfers, how is that going to work out? I mean, I know that you're going to stop using the Nostalrius data, but would that include like everything on the "Nostalrius PvP" and "Nostalrius PvE" servers or is it going to be just a core conversion and a rebranding or something? I'm sorry, I find this confusing and I don't understand a lot about how this stuff works. Honestly, though, best of luck to you! Thank you for everything you've done for us!

Me and a few other people are trying to transfer our Nost characters to our new accounts and getting greeted with "We are encountering technical difficulties regarding the token generation procedure. Please try again later." Of course I've looked around and seen nothing on this. I'll try again in a little while, but is this just a normal thing? I'm absolutely sure I entered my information correctly.
