Need some help here. When I logged in today for the first time in 1.5 days, one of my characters has zero gold. It was exactly where I left it when I logged off last - on the bridge in ironforge - no items are sold, no successful auctions were taken from my mailbox, etc. I don't believe my account was compromised, I have never bought gold or visited a gold seller's website etc, so there's no way they got my password and login. Need some help, I've never had this happen before. I had about 90-92 gold on my mage.

Honestly, I wouldn't even care if they delved deeper and could tell me "yeah someone logged into your account during the time you say you weren't on, so change your password" I'd be ok with that answer. But if it is a system issue or something, idk what, I'm not well versed in such things. Just want to know what happened not "probably" what happened. Things just don't add up to being hacked. If I was hacked, I would expect to have been logged out near a mailbox, not exactly where I left my character last etc.

Any update on this? Experiencing the same difficulties.
