We are a family strong in the secrets of power. We studied poisons, subterfuge and walked the paths of subtle power for generations. Seeking power and influence over our fellows, we looked for any means to become the power. Generations upon generations we gathered together, slowing coming together with similarly aware people. We chose each other, guided our tribes so that we could have influence over them but able to blame others if things went wrong.
When humans warred with the trolls, we learned how to hide our craft as the arcane magics being several within the number who were given over to the Quel'dorei. Unfortunately, our brethren viewed magic as some form of toy and not the carefully controlled tool that it is. Thus came the Legion to feast upon the folly of man. During this war, the only paladin of our line stood between us and the Legion. We have the fools of Dalaran to thank for his death. A wielder of what we call The Poisoned Light. No other of us has had such devotion as Rathgar Salusbane that we could wield the Light in such righteous hands.
Rathgar Salusbane
When kingdoms formed, we were always near the seats of power, but never taking the most powerful seat for ourselves. We took the roles of advisors and councilors, whispering in the ears of kings, manipulating our fellows like before into doing what we desired. It has not always worked according to plan, but the net gains out vastly outweighed the losses we have endured. Then came the Orcs.
We discovered a new source of power. The Fel. We relished and cherished it. Our methods had a counterpart in magic beyond anything we understood. Immediately, we sought to understand this power. We captured the warlocks of the Orcs. We used our most profane means of extracting the knowledge of this power from the invaders. The knowledge has been passed between us. It was fate. Our name demanded that we learn this art and craft.
And so, we are one of the noble families of Stormwind. We supply warlocks to the armies, claiming a small number when nearly all in house Feldorien understand the arts and sciences within. We supply rogues whose mastery of poison and gift of shadows rival those of demons and darker priests. Our warriors are the most bloodthirsty of the humans, craving the blood of their enemies.
For those wishing to join us, contact anyone within the house: Zellia (young leader), Nassi (cousin to Zellia, spoiled brat of a shadow priestess), and our various taskmasters of Mudashu, Dragnyk, Theda, and Novalice.
