At Nost you could farm DM E easy. Here I tried and I saw that the patrols are running and not walking and you aggro them easy when you farm the packs. Plus the loot looks to be nerfed. Anyone else tried to farm DM E?

Warriors and rogues are a joke for a sh-priest with descent geared at 1vs1. Shield yourself, put Vampiric Embrace and dot. Mages can kill you only if they know how and have their CD up (but mosts mages are bad and almost always I kill them).

Anathema is really an excellent choice to name the Nostalrius PVP :)

At low levels you can heal with no problem as shadow priest. From Sunken Temple and up is getting harder...

In fact pre-raid BiS shadow priests aren't that bad in raids as DPS. They have serious problem with mana but their dps is very good if they know how to play. At raids a good spriest easy is one of top 10 best dps. Usually you need only 1 spriest for the buffs and you will prefer a good geared mage mostly for his aoe spells but a good spriest can shine as dps. But he have to waste a lot of time and money to farm Demonic Runes and mats for mana pots. Also the priest gear at some raids has only +heal so the items he can roll are less...

Fire mage is fine for leveling and maybe more fun from frost. Also you learn 2 levels earlier the fireball spells and this is a little boost. In fact until you learn Shatter 4/5 or 5/5 (around level 28-30) fire is superior from frost and many mages level as fire mages and switch to frost when they have full Shatter. But you will 2 problems as fire. First, if you are playing at pvp server you may have hard time with enemy rogues and warriors. Second, most likely you will have to respec as frost when you want to quest at Searing Gorge and Burning Steps because most mobs there are immune to fire spells (otherwise you have to find a party to do those quests).

The luck of support is mostly why I don't bother to play a healing spec at bgs. And yes, as shadow you melt people....

You need 6 thorium bars and 4 runecloths for 3 thorium grenades. Iron grenates mats are easier to get although the drop rate of Heavy Stones is bad.

You are really that bad or that kid? With crits the FB5 DPS and DPM are even more superior from FB4. But you need to know Ice Shards talents points and Piercing Ice talents points to be more precise. Your posts telling me you have to check yourself about brain damage.... +1

For first, if you are student maybe consider to study your math more and play less. DPS means damage per second. You really need an add on to make a simple division and find what the common sense telling (greater ranks do more damage) ? So, if you don't trolling and you really can't calculate it lets see: FB 4: 2.1 sec cast time (with 5/5 Imp FB), 78-87 damage (82.5 mean value), 65 mana FB5: 2.5 sec cast time (with 5/5 Imp FB), 133-147 damage (140 mean value), 100 Mana With no crits at all: FB4: 39.3 DPS, 1.27DPM FB5: 56 DPS, 1.4DPM FB5 has better DPS and DPM. The only logical reason to use FB 4 is when your target hp is really low and a FB5 is waste of mana. But even than its better to wand it or use scorch. In fact you need only FB1 to slow something fast (1 sec cast with Imp FB) and your higher rank FB.

TIP: Ask yourself what role does a feral druid has in pvp? With my shadow priest I am mostly dps but I will dispel polymorph and fear and sometimes I will shield someone if I think it is useful (like flag carrier or a healer that takes too much damage etc). But I will not take the role of healer as shadow priest (there are exceptions ofc but only situational). I mainly focus on dps, mana burn the enemy healers and dispel polymorph and fear. If you want to heal at pvp don't be shadow priest. Take a healing build, put on your healing gear and be a pocket healer if you wish. You will be by far more efficient as healer with healing gear and healing spec. If you roll a shadow priest most likely you don't want to heal others so don't heal them. With my shadow priest at the start of almost every bg there are some players that ask me to be a healer (most of them are usually low geared). I simply ignore them. I choose how to play. If I wanted to be a healer I would have a healer spec. Although I will help with dispels as I said (and after combat I will also dispel dots) I am not healer unless I choose to be. Shadow priest have problem with mana but they are killing machines. Bgs are full of dps warriors (maybe the worst class to solo pvp) and they usually need a pocket healer to be efficient. I don't take this role with my shadow priest. If they tell me how to play my shadow priest, I advice them to roll a healer or some class more capable at pvp. At the end you choose what spec you enjoy to play and how to play it.
