1 line is absolutely not enough. Generally people do not pay attention to the chat box in the middle of a BG so it is, effectively, essential to spam the box 2,3 or 4 times, often in caps, for players eyes to take notice of it. On a side note, it is not for you to decide if "one message is more than enough". It may be enough for you to notice but that does not mean that this is applicable to everyone, particularly the newer players to vanilla or WoW in general. Please take note of solutions being offered to you by an obviously unhappy player-base. If you want to keep the server "blizz like" this shouldn't be here in the first place. However, I understand something must be done, but you are now negatively effecting QoL for a lot of people.

Just seen these replies. I read a post from one of the devs on the announcement forums that PvP realm was back up over 30mins ago.

Bump. I am also getting the same problem. Was playing today right up until the server reset. 10-15 mins ago I tried to log in and got as far as "Authenticating" before the "disconnected from server" message appeared. I repeated this 3 times until it finally went straight to "disconnected from server" at the log-in screen. I have deleted the config.wtf file and readded the realm name and server, but it is now telling me my password is incorrect. Have I been hacked or is this a common issue people are having?

Where do you change your account password? Cant find it on the website

Just to make sure I'm not being an idiot. When I go into the WTF folder, I have an Account Folder at the top and then a Config file underneath. There is not specific Config Folder. I have tried deleting it altogether as suggested in the other thread Seymore but still nothing.

I just checked the config file and those 2 lines were already in it. Not at the end but I assume that wouldn't make a difference.

Hey Mimma, I've just checked my config file and I have both realm settings in there already but I'm getting the same problem. I was able to log in and out all day yesterday with no issues but today it's just not happening.

I'm getting the same problem. Was able to log in and out all day yesterday and today its Connecting -> Disconnected from Server. Tried logging in 20+ times now, I assumed it's ddos protection or something but it seems a bit excessive now.

Hey guys, I was playing all day yesterday, multiple logins and outs and had no issues getting into the game. But today I've tried 20/30 times to log in and I keep getting the disconnected from server message as soon as I enter my password. Anyone know how to fix this or if it's normal?
