I also want to be clear since I've seen a few topics with similar issues that this isn't something that suddenly occurred. This has been the case since I created this character on the night the servers opened.

I have a level 15 orc warrior on the PvP server(Mauldahr) that is unable to use certain chat channels. I can see and use trade and general, but I can't see /g, /p, /w. I can't even see my own messages when I send them to these channels(no error message so for all I know these messages are being sent and just aren't visible to me). I also don't see anything when I type /played so it may extend to other chat commands. I started a NE hunter and was immediately greeted with a whisper from a gold seller so this seems to be a character specific problem.
