  1. Elysium is not reimbursing items that people believe are missing from the transfers. The transfers were a snapshot, there was no missing data. At the time of the snapshot you clearly did not have those items. As a result you won't be getting any of this returned. Goodluck.

    DISCONECTED

DNS is struggling with the demand. Edit your realmlist.wtf to set realmlist 164.132.233.125 That should help.

    hacked?

Try to login to the Control Panel on the website, if it was an account from Nostalrius, it won't be there for you. Has to be an Elysium account, made on the Elysium website. Transfer of old characters into the account from old Nost accounts require a token from Nost. Those tokens are not working atm.

    Won't let me login

This is because it likely detecting that the account details were leaked from another server and thus all people trying to create accounts with the same details may get instantly banned to stop the Gold sellers having access to them. Try and new account name and unique password. Do not use one that has been used elsewhere.

    Resolution not working anymore

Edit the config.WTF with notepad. You are trying to load an option that wasn't and isn't listed in the 1.12.1 client. So you need to enter it youself. Look for the resolution line, should be obvious.

    Huge FPS drop when alt+tab

Sounds like you don't have a large enough page file. Alternatively it may be a graphics card driver issue. I have never heard of this issue with WoW and don't believe it is a client issue. Check google, might find something useful.

    Resolution not working anymore

Check your config.WTF in WTF folder, likely it has reset back to an older value. Orginal Vanilla didn't have that resolution available as a default option. So you have to load it in via config.

Account hacked, what can I do?

Sorry to hear that happened to you, luckily the account isn't banned but I do not believe that they return gold or items lost from due to this. The issue is far too big for them to return the content from the account. Sorry. If it hasn't been banned yet and you have a new password, and use 2FA. Then you should be fine going forward, just without whatever you lost. Goodluck earning it back!

    hacked?

Do you actually have an account? If you had an old Nostalrius account then they have not been automatically transferred. Hacked accounts are closed and/or stripped bare. They don't bother changing passwords, they don't want your account long term. So I doubt it was hacked.

    Won't let me login

Your account is banned. Put in a ban appeal, information in my FAQ if you need it. https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/29112-molotovs-handy-faq-for-all-some-of-your-various-problems/

    instant dc

My thread here may be able to assist you: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/29112-molotovs-handy-faq-for-all-some-of-your-various-problems/ The login server is under intense load. And so it is common to be stuck at Authenticating unto timeout (Disconnect). Q4, Q11, Q12 and Q14 - Should all assist you.
  12. It is a temporary mute done by the automatic anti-gold selling systems. They have had to become rather harsh to fight the problem (and still some get through). Your private conversation, likely via Whisper, is exactly how gold sellers try to contact people. So if you made any similar references of gold seller patterns - it would be picked up. But mute is not permanent, as you have seen.
  13. Updated. Added Question 11 through 14. Cheers.

    ban appeal section?

Hello carminelol, Several things to note, yes the ban appeals are monitored but posting multiple will simply keep pushing you to the bottom of the queue for resolution. Your ban appeal is no more special than the others. Additionally, there is a high chance that your account was compromised and then used to either traffic or supply gold buyers which resulted in it being closed. You should be following all the steps in the Ban Appeal information thread. Despite what you may think, your ban has nothing to do with a personal attack on you and your lack of account does nothing for the server. You are just one of hundreds of thousands of players who are going to play. So banning your account to help 'clear the queue' or something ridiculous is like trying to stop a bush fire with a cup of water. Despite what you may think, gold farmers don't send you an email warning you of the impending use of your account. Nor do they leave a calling card after they are gone. But the account is banned all the same. This is likely the highest probability of what has happened to you, assuming that you didn't pay for gold/levelling or cheat in another fashion. You will have to be patient with your ban appeal because you and the other people banned are many but even that is relative. You are still not even a fraction of a percent of the active accounts on the server. Claiming that a staff team would ban you for any reason to reduce traffic is simply stupid and very self absorbed. If they didn't want people playing on the servers, they wouldn't run them. So, if you calm down and muster your marginal patience you will hopefully get a response soon. Posting here does not assist your cause in any way. Goodluck, Molotov.
  15. Updated and merged all into original post.
  16. Hi everyone, I run Auctioneer 3.9.0.1063 but it has a problem and I am trying to find either a fix or an alternative solution (Different working version perhaps). When I do a partial scan (Untick a single category) it works perfectly, scans and updates the DB correctly. But doesn't register as a full scan, as I expect. However, if I do a full scan (all ticked) then it scans the entire AH and tells me how many things it scanned (everything, about 30,000 auctions on the PvP server) but doesn't add any of them to the DB as it seems to think nothing changed. It also doesn't seem to update the time of the last full scan, so when I go to the "Search Auctions" tab it states "Results are more than 24 hours out of date!" This is consistent with it not updating the DB properly with a full scan. Things I have tried: Using 3.6.0 and 3.8.0 but both of these versions scan at half the rate (5 per second, rather than closer to 10), making a full scan an 1.5 hour task rather than 45 min. Which is just getting unmanageable. Can anyone help me? I have tried using Aux but it just isn't to my taste. Doesn't give me enough information and doesn't display things like prices in a way that I find easy (I like the symbols for g, s and c rather than just colouring the text the corresponding colour. Regards, Molotov.

Ban appeal is a waste of time

Might need 10 posts or something, I vaguely remember not having it either at some point.
  18. Auctioneer and Aux take the same time to scan for me. Getall didn't exist in this version of WoW and never did while I played retail. Yet somehow it all still worked. Running both at the moment and I will report back which gives me better results (if I have enough data by the time fresh releases) Anyway, to the core topic. Anyone know how to fix my Auctioneer issue?
  19. Accuracy only matters if you straight up believe the numbers and don't simply use them as guidance with input from present listings. Aux has the potential to be great, however without a full list of vendor prices (rather than simply what your character is exposed too) this potential will never be met. I also believe that Auctioneer does cull the outliers. While not a perfect system, it served me well throughout Vanilla and TBC. Don't get me wrong, Aux has the potential to be great and it does have some functions that I like, however it doesn't provide me with as much utility or functional use as Auctioneer. Especially because every search has to re-search the entire AH, and will not use data from a full search of everything done previously. Thus if I want to look for profit on more than a single criteria (or change my mind on criteria) I have to re-scan all 580 odd pages which even Aux takes about 50 minutes to complete which is the same as Auctioneer.
  20. Auctioneer tells me how many it has seen, what those prices were and similar information which tells me how good the statistical information I am using is. Sample size is very important. Then also creates approximate medians, bids and BO's etc. I prefer being informed how the information I am presented was created rather than a single 'magic' number. It also has a complete DB of all vendor prices and doesn't rely on me seeing the price in the vendor, personally. Thus, I prefer Auctioneer. Aux is also a touch unwieldy in control and manipulation of how it functions and displays information. EDIT: Also I am running both atm and auctioneer scan time doesn't seem discernibly different from Aux - Or for me anyway. (Ignore owner name is on)

In the sage words of... myself. You just got served, son. Don't come running to the forums because you lack personal responsibility.
