TBC IMO was the best version of wow overall. The one problem I have with it, was it started the catering to pvpers (which is the opposite an mmo is spose to be... classes are NOT spose to be equal 1v1 in tradditional mmo's). You would play w/e class because of the role you would support with. pvp was just a bonus. In vanilla, the gear u got from raids, vs the gear u got from pvp... was more or less on the same playing fileld. (yes endgame pve was better, but took SOOO much longer to get than decent pvp gear)
in TBC someone who spent so much time pve, would get wrecked by a new pvp person just because of res. it completely seperates the players into two groups. you could be out questing, in complete endgame pve gear, and someone could gank the фекал out of u because they had pvp gear... no skill required. cause you would do вау all dmg to them.
for that reason alone, i would want a pve realm, world pvp in vanilla was legit, it was an easier version of EQ but stayed true to the basics. TBC was a better server for pvpers and pvers... content was better for both sides... but when mixed... imo it didnt work.
drunk when writing, hope it made sense lol.
