What are you talking about? Most of the characters my Census+ catches are between 10 and 20. Most of the people ARE NOT over 20.

I'm very sure this will get better. Right now there are over 11k players on Elysium. Yesterday we had about 30% of the players idling in their character selection screen for hours.

I see characters standing in corners of taverns, jumping from time to time or constantly running against walls. They obviously try to hide from other players and there is only on reason to do such a thing: They are cheating and don't want do get caught. I'm standing right in front of Shaper from GRIZZLY and what he is doing reminds me of something I saw today on reddit and he is not the only one: This is nothing we can tolerate. These players should at least get banned for a few days.

30-45 minutes compared to the 6-12 hours someone is sleeping and / or not at home. There are people who NEVER go offline, if they can.

Today we had a very annoying queue with only 7k players online (3k in the character selection) and I wouldn't be surprised, if at least 500 players were afk in the game, avoiding a disconnect by some more or less illegal methods.

They should first fix the problem with people not getting kicked from the character selection screen and ban all the players who use bots or macros to stay online, then wait for one or two weeks. If we then still have the same issues, it's a good idea to open a 4th server. If / when the amount of players massively decreases, they can merge Elysium 1 and 2, since they are on the same timeline.

This is strange. Other players are able to stay online in the character selection screen. Maybe they have some kind of auto-disconnect, but it doesn't work in every case.

Entirely possible. That's exactly how cheaters try to defend their antisocial actions. I visited Stormwind and I see exactly the same stuff there. A lot of people sitting on the ground with AFK tags (no problem with that, but auto-disconnect should get fixed soon) and a few characters on the upper floor in corners / behind walls without AFK tags, probably jumping every few minutes. The GMs should check the taverns and monitor these players at least for a few minutes.

Playing harder or better by using keyboard macros? What about playing harder / better by buying gold or some leveling boost? They are cheaters and the only person being pathetic here is you.

It's a small german server. 900 is totally fine. We had about 1.1k players when AQ opened. edit: I hate AP. Raiding on mythic is fun, but if I want to keep my raid spot, I have to grind m+. Fucking hate it.

My old german server has about 900 players at the moment. At it's 3:30 pm.

25k players, thousands more in the queue. The servers are funded for the next months. Vanilla clearly wouldn't work.
