Shuffling through code to find weaknesses takes a lot of effort and time. Most of these people commenting on how easy it will be for hackers to "crack into the code" clearly sound like the only code they've ever written is "Hello World" tier. Going open source after a leak is actually a good decision from a security stand point, because even if the hackers manage to find one of those cracks in the code by looking at it for hours, code-savvy people concerned about their own security and the server's security will be doing the same, making the process of fixing these issues a lot faster than before with just a handful of developers who are volunteering a limited amount time to the project and might overlook things.

I'm guessing you're using the same version I also used before. Download this one here, it's a previous release that doesn't seem to break stances. Just make sure to delete your current Bongos version from your addons folder and then past this one there, don't just copy and paste it over the old version like I did. You should also delete all of the .lua files with Bongos on their filename in each of your SavedVariables folder inside the WTF folder C:\Program Files\WoW\WTF\Account\YourAccount\SavedVariables), and inside each of your characters SavedVariables folder (WoW\WTF\Account\YourAccount\Realm\YourCharacter\SavedVariables)

I want to believe you, it'd be funny as fuck, but honestly anybody who knows how to open the developer tools panel on their browser and has some knowledge in HTML can make up the kind of claims he's doing and just say "They deleted it after X amount of time". I can't bother checking out all of his videos but so far there are no sources listed in that last video he made, and most of the times he only shows screenshots as proof for his boldest claims so yeah... I don't remember reading that on the ToS so I doubt it. However the witch hunts he supports/starts are clearly a violation of the ToS, as instead of reporting those people to the staff and let the staff handle it (whether they believe or not that the staff is with them is another issue), the people on those witch hunts just go out of their way to dox or ruin their gameplay experience, guilty or not. That is a real violation to the ToS, and even if he doesn't participate directly in those, he posts the results of those witch hunts and endorses them.

Nice way to take things out of context. It's all done in a volunteer/advising manner. There's literally no way of stopping those people to going back to their old ways but if you can get something positive out of them, you might as well take the chance while their little change of heart lasts. Reputation also works both ways. If they ever decided to go back to those shady communities their trust with them wont be the same anymore, as they've shown (now) that they're willing to work with the "system". It's like being a snitch, just use some common sense to figure out how things really work.

+1 for concern. Just activated 2FA and even though I don't have any issues with it yet, backup/fail-safe code(s) should be a must have in this system to solve these kind of cases easily.
