So in light of the fact that it's against the rules to publicly use any language other than English, and there exists global channels for other language users, would it be possible to somehow notify new users of these alternate-language channels' existence upon login?
My thinking is that if someone, say who only spoke Chinese, wants to play, and they don't know any English, then when they log in they're basically relegated to playing alone until they eventually randomly bump into another Chinese player who clues them into the existence of the Chinese global channel, or they break the rules a few times in hopes that they won't get banned and will be able to find others to play (who would then presumably clue them in on the other channels). By having some system text at the beginning of each character's login that notifies each player of the names of the alternate language channels it both a) maintains the general channels as being English only, and b) allows those who do not speak any English to quickly find other players who also speak their language via the global channels designated for their language.
