  1. Fair. It seems the international section of the forums is the perfect place to advertise these kind of channels and guilds. This resolves the problem. Hopefully all non-english speaking players will be able to recognize "international section" or have translator plugins for their browsers so they can find that section of the forums, haha Thanks again for your constructive responses!
  2. Well you see, I only speak English fluently, as I was raised in the States. This was really more of an abstract problem to me personally, rather than one that affects me directly. I was unaware there even was an international section to the forums. That seems to be the perfect place to advertise these channels. Issue resolved. Thanks for your constructive feed back :)
  3. So in light of the fact that it's against the rules to publicly use any language other than English, and there exists global channels for other language users, would it be possible to somehow notify new users of these alternate-language channels' existence upon login? My thinking is that if someone, say who only spoke Chinese, wants to play, and they don't know any English, then when they log in they're basically relegated to playing alone until they eventually randomly bump into another Chinese player who clues them into the existence of the Chinese global channel, or they break the rules a few times in hopes that they won't get banned and will be able to find others to play (who would then presumably clue them in on the other channels). By having some system text at the beginning of each character's login that notifies each player of the names of the alternate language channels it both a) maintains the general channels as being English only, and b) allows those who do not speak any English to quickly find other players who also speak their language via the global channels designated for their language.
