Ok, it is solved now. I used a really crazy name and it worked. It seems like the other name was also taken or something but I was getting a different error and this is what had me confused. Sorry for opening a new topic you can close it now.

Hi, My character was forced to be renamed and every time I try to rename it on the character selection screen I get a message "Character rename failed." It is not because the new name is already taken because in that case I get a different message "This name is unavailable." Please help me. Is this a bug or a known issue and are there any workarounds? Thanks
