Why do you keep bringing blizzard into this ? If devs really wanted to, they wouldn't even have to set up some token site. They could just say, that their player database was "stolen" in a "security breach" of the server, where it is currently stored. You cannot be sued for getting something "stolen" from you. And no one could ever prove that there wasn't any hack. Also, and I'm pretty sure of this, Blizzard just doesn''t give a fuck anymore. They did what they had to, to protect their IP. Nost is down and that's it for them. And reusing the player database wouldn't be problem of Nost devs, but Elysium devs. But even if I'm wrong and it is like you say, this still doesn't excuse Developers from lying to us. They stated MULTIPLE times that THEY WILL BRING OUR TOONS BACK ! If what you say is true, they knew all along that it couldn't be done (at least not legally) and just wanted free advertisement. And my main issue with this whole situation is that they say there will be this feature and when it doesn't work, they say "We can't fix it". I don't give a single solitary fuck about where is the root of the issue, this is feature of THIS server, not Nostalrius. That server is long gone.

Twitter post from 31/12 as for the reddit post, I get three type of answers 1) we can't do anything 2) blame blizzard 3) blame nost dev team This isn't addressing the issue, this is just trying to blame their failure on others. They knew since the very beginning that Nost is "being held by the balls" and they should have prepared their PR material accordingly. If they cannot ensure character transfer, they had to know that long before launch date and shouldn't advertise this as "dunn deal". They should have said "there is slight chance that you'll get your characters back, but we cannot promise you that", but then this realm wouldn't have even 1000 players :) I stick with my "this was a scam" opinion, because there is no way in hell, that Blizzard could enforce NDA on Nost developers. Also, I don't think that Blizzard even touched or let alone claimed Nost databases, they only wanted to shut down the server. This has happened many times before and never once I read anywhere that "Blizzard confiscated hardware containing their intellectual property".

but why is it so hard to come here and create on blue post stating "HEY GUYS IT DOENST FEKIN WORK, WE ARE CURRENTLY RESOLVING IT, BLAME NOST DEVS" ? I don't ask for anything else and you have to understand that I'm skeptical about info that doesn't come directly from devs

I have been trying to get my account on launch day, no surprise it didn't work. So i thought it was overwhelmed or bugged and I waited. If what you say is true, then I didn't ever even have chance to redeem my token... but I don't think that's the case, the token link is still up, it just doesn't do anything

And as I said in the other thread, this attitude totally ruined this server for me. I already know that I won't be playing here, because I've never seen anything like this. Everywhere else I've ever played, Devs at least say "SOON" or something like that, so you you know they may not be fixing it right away, but at least they acknowledge that something is going on. Here it's just dead silence and acting like everything is fine.

you know, If they'd be communicating with us, I'd be KINDLY REMINDING them, but they built this entire hype around bringing back our old accounts. IMHO it's the only reason why this realm is as populated as it is. Because people thought "Heeey Nost is back baby!". But so far they just ignored this issue, didn't put out ANY statement at all and just act like everything is cool. This isn't about getting my account back, this is about the attitude they have towards their own playerbase. For example: if Molten Core is not going to work, are they going to ignore that issue too ? This seem pretty ваууing shady by my standards. As for the "issue between Nost and Elysium staff"... I don't care ! Everywhere they promised that they merged and that they have original staff. So either they lied to us, or they are childish retards who can't put aside their differences. And for the "huge priority" remark... you must be joking, what kind of flawed logic is that ? People get pissed at me, for not upholding my promises, so I get pissed about them getting pissed and will continue to not uphold my promise ? What the вау ?

well if you look really close there are almost 200 posts in this thread alone and no one bothered to answer us. So yeah, i say that is as good thread as any, because right now, all i care about is some reaction from the dev team. INB4 their only reaction is going to be banhammer

Since you don't respond in the proper forums, perhaps you will here ? Right now, I don't even want to play on this piece of фекал server anymore, but I want some ваууing answers ! So far it seems that bunch of russian fags scammed the entire private server scene to gain popularity and population for their realm. I have patiently waited for you to fix your issues, but nothing has changed ! In fact, it's only got worse. And your way of dealing with the SINGLE BIGGEST ISSUE of your entire server is... not doing a ваууing thing ? There are no blue posts regarding this issue, and right now it's the biggest thread on this forum. I think I'm speaking on behalf of everyone coming from Nostalrius when I say ADRESS THIS ISSUE! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THE ваууING TOKEN SYSTEM ?

Well It's not usual for me to join forums only to complain, but damn, this grinds my gears ! From all the фекал I've seen on private servers, I've decided to even give them some time to fix the usual "being born" issues. Now I come here and it's even bigger mess than at launch, what the hell ?! But this is just outrageous ! As I said above, this seems just like one huge scam so far. They advertise everywhere how they have staff from the original Nost and blah blah blah, but when it comes to the only and single most important aspect of Nostlarius (bringing our characters back) SUDDENLY there's a problem, no one acknowledges it and no one seems to do anything about it. Sure, they do this for free, but that ain't no excuse ! If I'm going to give away free food and people are gonna get food poisoning from it, I'd still be persecuted, no matter the food was free. Also, this gives me insight into what kind of customer support ( bugfixes, banning cheaters and exploiters etc.) we can expect from this community. Right now, I'm not even sure I want to play anymore, even if I get my toon back, because this is obviously huge issue and I don't see any official statement anywhere. What will happen if Raids / Dungs / BGs don't work ? Will they ignore those issues too ?

I just read thru this forum and i gotta say... вау this server and it's devs. The single and ONLY reason why I even bothered opening up this servers page was because I was promised my character back. I really mean it, I have given up on vanilla the day Nost closed and this seemed like miracle. I even patiently waited some time since the launch of this server, because I knew there would be some issues, just like there always are. Now I come here just to be greeted by not working transfers and "Half-year transfer period" ? This is a joke right ? I get that you do this for free, but damn, this is false advertisement. This seems just like scam on original Nost population to gain popularity and people to play. And inb4 anyone comes white-knighting here saying that I "don't understand anything and that it's extremely hard blah blah"... merging databases doesn't take half a year.
