I am willing to bet 40 gold pieces the thing that you ask will not happen for a number of reasons. 1. GMs don't reimburse nor return your in-game posessions if you were the one to blame for losing them (some exceptions apply, see Rules). 2. You were not scammed for your gold, you bought an item from AH fair and square, and freedom of setting the price on a lot, however ridiculous it can be, is the core of in-game economics. If your eyesight restricts you from seeing the prices clearly, use another screen resolution so the numbers are bigger.

И не смотрел бы, да один из вас намылился в модераторы, т. е. "ракование", как это принято называть, этой темой не ограничится. Ещё хорошо, что для русскоязычных моноглотов с искалеченной системой ценностей отдельная резервация, как и у Близзов когда-то была: не доросли до многонационального общества.

Поправка: бан чата для одного из персонажей этого человека. Если он того же уровня, что и ты - скорее всего, это какой-нибудь из альтов. Да и, повторюсь, суть не в суровости наказания, а в его (не)отвратимости -- вероятность невелика, учитывая, что ГлавГМ по русскому форуму сегодня недвусмысленно сказал, что теперь будет "читать только тикеты". Кстати, может быть, тикет?

Рискуя навлечь на себя гнев администрации (хехе), по существу дела скажу-таки следующее: когда ОЧЕНЬ хочется отомстить вонючеротому гондзервативу, который посмел сказать совершенно неприемлемую вещь -- обращаться за его баном редко когда приносит удовлетворение, да и в принципе редко срабатывает. Гораздо, гораздо эффективнее его а) просто заигнорить и не обращать внимания или б) нагадить в приват ещё более неприглядные вещи (если сам администрациб не опасаешься) и заигнорить. Ну. это вот моё такое имховое мнение.

Да понятно тут всё, когда-то бывшие релевантными, но вышедшие в тираж ребята собрались своей компашкой, со своими мемчиками, жаргончиком и стилем общения; тряхнуть стариной, вспомнить былые свершения и т. д. Всё бы хорошо, но зачем активному коммьюнити малину обсыкать? ГМа жалко, другого-то нет.

Спасибо за эту тему, очень красочно и выразительно на трёх страницах раскрыли суть этого (очевидно, достаточно застарелого) сообщества. ГМ неправ в плане эмо-квита, а вот русская часть форума (и, в частности, разделы об апелляциях и технических проблемах) теперь остались без присмотра. Тут уже "Борис Хордкор, ты неправ". Надеюсь, в игре не пересечёмся.

Если внимательно почитать ответы в этой теме, создаётся впечатление, что гражданин просто инстинктивно копротивляется любой администрации >.< На форуме Носта в знаменитой теме с 50+ страницами хейта тоже было несколько очень постоянных посетителей, с завидным упорством (но без завидных аргументов) толсто намекавших, что Еlysium вотпрямщас тоже уже вот-вот почти скоро продастся Близзам и закроется/удалитперсонажей/ещёхуженоста и вообще #поравалить. Не уверен, что следует провоцировать давать повод для развёрнутого поста подобной риторики, пусть и в беседке. Тем более, что главпост темы как-то слегка остался неотвеченным.

...и ещё, если можно, частоту появления снизить хотя бы в 2 раза, а то вместе со спамом про двойную авторизацию в спокойных локациях полчата жёлтые. Заранее спасибо.

Я тоже первые несколько раз пробовал с хэштегами. Внутриигровое сообщение пишет чётко, мол, синтаксис команды такой: ".account password #old #new #new". *спс nitron за напоминание точного вида внутриигрового сообщения, которое, как минимум, допускает несколько толкований игроками =)

Тем, у кого проблемы с якобы "неверным старым паролем": при использовании ингейм команды не ставьте решётки. Команда вида ".аккаунт #пароль #другойпароль #другойпароль" пишет, что "пароль" - неверный. Команда вида ".аккаунт пароль другойпароль другойпароль" пишет, что всё пучком и пароль изменён. Не проверял, меняется ли пароль в действительности... мне мой нравится, сменил обратно (также командой).

I'd avoid arguing with that particular person, not only he has an ironclad opinion about Elysium being bad guys for some reason, but also his dedication to share said opinion, extensively, on the slightest possibility, is admirable >.<

Okay, thanks for your opinion and explanation of it's origins. Maybe I'm just willing to hope for the best instead of expecting the worst. I sure hope though that I am right and you're wrong, otherwise I should just stop playing here altogether because the future is dark and full of frustrations >.< But at least now I can see where your opinion comes from, and I agree that it has it's valid points. Except for character retrieval part, that's simply and plainly can't be done without Nostalrius re-opening the service: again, Elysium most likely have an encrypted character database, just a mish-mush of characters existing on a server w/o account affiliation whatsoever (hence, you can add them to friendlist and whatnot); Nost has the means to affiliate characters with accounts, issuing a token, which is later used by Elysium. Simply put: your account name on Nost and your account name on Elysium have no link between the two, and your account on Elysium has no link to the characters transferred from Nost. To estabilish that link, you need Nost's token, a certificate that these characters belong to you, the person in posession of said token. Then you go and claim those characters, linking them to your Elysium account. Since Nost (for whatever reason) are clearly trying to "cease and desist" to the fullest, I don't see a chance of that happening. Again, my condolences to all the people who lost their toons.

Okay, remember how those game providers alvays say "Our employee will NEVER ask for your password blah blah blah"? That's because your account and it's connection to your characters are password-protected and known only to you. Hence the whole token system: character database is encrypted. and a token is required to correspond the account with characters. So, no, Elysium could not "redeem those characters" - or, rather, those characters existed, but with no player's account at Elysium servers to claim them as their own. I'm sure you see there is no way for Elysium to restore ALL the characters by creating all the accounts they used to belong to. As for "setting pressure on Nost to restart the transfer" - come on, that's just stupid talk. First of all, to apply pressure one needs leverage. Secondly, the whole point of Nost's actions was to shut down any and all of their illegal activities, and the transfer is a big no-no here and very easily detected and monitored. You keep trying to throw stones at Elysium. While I am all up for rational concern and healthy criticism, your posts and your persistence go waaaaay past that.

You keep saying this but it has literally no substance. The "leaked reply" was prepared in advance because this was planned in advance. The "official legacy advocating" at this point is pretty much just a tradition. All the other stuff you say has absolutely no basis. Please, provide one? Which "demands" ELysium had submitted to? It does not "speaks for itself". You should articulate your concerns, because I, for one, don't share them in the slightest. Maybe I should, or maybe they are not that valid concerns.

Yes, I am serious, and you are trying too hard. Again, I deem your theory to be unnecessarily complicated and based on fiction. There is much more plausible and simple explanation. Nost is in eurozone, legally, where there are actually working and enforced copyright laws in the internet. Elysium isn't. Nost pretends to demand idiotic things like servers shutdown. Elysium pretends to say "how about no". Everything is renamed. Everything that matters stays in place. Nost has its попа legally covered, to an extent. Maybe I failed to understand what is exactly your problem here, but you seem to be very, very driven to convince everybody that "Elysium is baaad, mkay". Care to elaborate your concerns? What "compliance" actions of Elysium led you to build this theory of yours? What problem do you have with the way things are? This is a genuine invitation to have a mature, calm discussion without excessive emotions and projectile feces all around.

You guys with your conspiracy theories do realize that these desicions aren't made on a whim and momentarily? Ofcourse Elysium team was notified by Nost team in confidence prior to that raving-mad announcement from Nost. Ofcourse Elysium have prepared a draft of an answer - the infamous "leaked document". Nost needed a way out, they got it with Elysium's help. This whole shebang was a smokescreen for Nost to get out and Elysium to carry on, being less avaliable for legal pressure from Blizz. My condolences to those who lost their characters to oblivion when old Nost character base was deleted, but overall, in my opinion, this "transition" was handled fairly well, all things considered.
