Minor thing: Lucifron is male, or at least identified as such (elementals don't have true genders?) Also as flowqz said, you can line of sight the curse.

You shouldn't rely solely on your memory, there are hundreds of videos of these bosses on Youtube. The Gehennas Rain of Fire does give a visual queue. I think you'll be hard-pressed to find any AoE type of ability that doesn't. As for Lucifron, next time you are in Molten Core time his debuffs, if they are really off from this video then you have reason for concern.

Put the items in the bank and take them back out again. No need to abandon the quest.

Not this crap again, I played there and used a census addon, their numbers were real. While Warmane certainly has problems, like with their overly strict staff, fake numbers are not one of them. It will be a long time, if ever, before Elysium has WotLK servers. Elysium should focus on Vanilla, which is where their heart is.

On Nostalrius I questioned a moderator regarding this, so I will pose the same issue here. How does this relate to infinite scrolling mouse wheels? With one you can input over 100 commands a second, while this may not seem like a useful feature, if bound to a skill that is spammed (shadowbolt, frostbolt, etc) it can actually allow a person to cast one or two extra spells over the course of a boss fight. How should something like this be treated?

Allowed, as long as they are not multiboxing. For reference this was changed in the Burning Crusade after it had been abused for so long. "Patch 2.1.0 (22-May-2007): Soulstones can no longer be used on targets not in your party or raid. In addition, the soulstone buff will now be removed if the target or caster leaves the party or raid."

In defense of this, no one really cared about Dire Maul once the Burning Crusade came out, while people still went to Deadmines consistently. Being from the US and starting after Dire Maul was released I only knew of it as "VC", but can see why "VC" might have been less heard of for some people (more notably EU).

Go to the Warlock section and read the sticky, it will answer all your Warlock specific questions. This is not The Burning Crusade or later, unless you are a mage with AoE or a high level do not pull multiple enemies unless one is about to die. Warlocks, Mages, and Hunters are the best levelers/soloers. If you are running out of quests (which you shouldn't), google "Vanilla WoW leveling guide"; there are even addons that give step by step information from 1-60.

This is the conclusion I've come to after all these years. To avoid confusion and any annoyances I usually spell out the full name of all instances regardless of if they share an acronym or not. The only acronym that truly bothers me like no other is when people use "y" to mean "yes". It is like I asked YOU the question, why are you responding with "why"!

It is decent for PvP, but even if it gives you more survivability from being attacked by members of the opposite faction, you will reduce the speed at which you can kill stuff (including other players).

If a raid leader doesn't then it is up to the class/role officers to properly inform them, that is what they exist for. It is not expected for a single person to know everything.

I meant Imp as in Imp the demon, not improved. I guess I should have said "Imp's Blood Pact", but whatever.

Not sure how that would translate to the Alliance side (which is what I have exclusively played), hence my above statement. I could be wrong, that is just how my guilds have often done it. The SM/Ruin Warlock was put into the tank group so that they may benefit from the Imp Blood Pact buff.

Funny enough one of the best gold farming tip someone could give you is "level a mage", that way if you have a character that can't farm worth anything (healers), it is less of a burden, while still allowing you to enjoy your preferred class. So you at least have that part down.

Trust me when I say it is much better this way. Sometimes it is better to go for the "feeling" of Vanilla than it is to be exact in every way. This means at times they have to make such changes to better suit the server.

Update 1.12.2queue - Login Screen is the new 12000-man raid dungeon that will present even the most experienced and powerful players with an epic challenge. Seriously though, in a few weeks it will go down, and if not I'm sure the admins will do something.

Before it falls into the abyss from the spam of Trade and Global. I wouldn't mind one every hour or so, it is just a line of text.
